    Born on the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous,Torie is the illegitimate love child of Han Solo and Daenerys Targaryen. Rescued by Gandalf shortly before her home planet was destroyed in the last days of the Clone Wars, she was raised in relative obscurity by her foster parents, Severus Snape and Pippi Longstocking. At the tender age of 113, she inherited the best little whorehouse in Texas and is rumored to be bringing Sexy Back. A self confessed chocoholic, she's been engaged to Willy Wonka despite gossip surrounding a lifelong affair with Bruce Wayne.

    And clearly, she practices delusion on a daily basis.

    The truth is, I'm just an overgrown kid with a vivid imagination who loves to write and share my crazy with the world. My future plans include, hopefully, buying a lovely Scottish castle and convincing Queen Elizabeth I that I'd make a fab addition to the Royal Family.

    Just when our heroine thinks she has left her past behind, her ex shows up with an army of the undead. This is not a healthy relationship.

    This is book two of the series, but it does just fine on its own.

    This is an urban fantasy story. The story is well written and easy to read with a well developed setting that is quite intriguing. The characters are also well done and have considerable depth to them, some of which we explore a bit more in this book. The plot combines action and romance in solid doses which keep things interesting. Overall, this was a lot of fun and I look forward to reading more in the series.

    Highly recommended.

    Book two and we get to know Ji-Hyun’s background and more about her life including a psycho, jealous ex. It’s an entertaining and exciting read as Ji meets Jamie a human and he turns her life upside down in a good way. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end as the story takes a darker turn as Juliet the ex returns and wants Ji back and causes more trouble and tries to destroy Ji’s new life! Intense, gripping this had me hooked and on the edge of my seat.

    In this story we get to learn more about how Ji-Hyun became undead. Add in a jealous ex with a plan, vampires, the Brides and cute Jamie, gt a fun story to enjoy. Entertaining and both light and dark at the same time. Glued to the end to see what would be revealed next and what craziness Ji-Hyun and Jamie must face next.

    This is an excellent follow up to the first book, and I believe that it is even better. This book kept me interested in what happened with the characters and was a twisty adventure for me. I Love a good Vampire story and this story really just made me want more of this world! I Loved It!!! No Spoilers! Give it a Read!

    I really enjoyed the Brides of Carpathia series, it was a wonderfully done vampire novel and I appreciated the idea of vampires on a beach. Brantwijn Serrah has a hypnotic writing style and I had enjoyed what I read.

    This is the second book and is great as you learn more about our main character and about a past ex that’s a psycho! This was story that keeps you reading to see what will happen next! It’s a great storyline and pulls you into the adventure!.
