    We are all interested if we can spot if someone is deceiving us when it comes to body language. And while that is important there are business applications that can be critical if we understand how to better read body language. For example: When you are interviewing a prospective candidate how do you know if they are truly interested in the position? Reading body language can help uncover that. Or When in a sales presentation how do you know if you are truly building authentic rapport with your potential customer or have lost the audience? Decoding Body Language will help. This is a very clever, practical and easy to understand way of learning how to decode body language. Martin Brooks has put together something that literally every person can benefit from.

    This is a really smart and accessible tool for accessing a wealth of knowledge about how we can decode body language in others, as well as using the tips to our own advantage. I started by picking out the cards at random, but the colour coding makes it easy to select cards within one of the seven categories if you want to focus on a theme, e.g. confidence, nervousness, connection, power play, etc.

    Some of the tips you'll likely have come across already, but there were many I hadn't. The write up on each card is very focused and to the point and deliver a shot of knowledge in an effective way.

    The box and the cards themselves are of a very good quality – the box definitely isn't going to fall apart anytime soon. The content itself, the quality of the make and the the highly visual format make this very suitable as a gift. It's a really helpful tool for adults, but I'm also going to buy a set for my teenage nieces who I'm sure will get a lot out of this too.
