Boyfriend Freeze (Love Notes Book 3) Kindle Edition
Dear Graham,
After crossing too many lines for my self-respect, I made a promise to myself: no hookups, no sexts, no dating. For sixty days.
But I didn't count on meeting you.
Who knew a smart, cardigan-wearing geek would be such temptation? You're all wrong for me, except you're also kind of exactly right.
So how do I keep my promise not to seduce the cute librarian and still get the perfect guy?
Maybe you know, because I don't...
Already yours,
Ollie
Boyfriend Freeze is part of the Love Notes series but can be read as a standalone. It was originally written as a short story for the Winter Wonderland promotion, but it has been expanded by 20,000 words.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2024Such a cute story, and I mean who hasn't had a dirty thought about a library? Ollie and Graham are a perfect example of opposites attract. The humor and snark between them is everything, and makes their chemistry everything. Loved seeing a glimpse of one of my favorite characters from another series in here too! Think that's part of why I love DJ's books even the different series all connect like a cute little puzzle that just fits perfectly.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2022Great book! I love Ollie. He's feisty. And I'm proud of him for realizing he deserves better. And Graham is such a sweetheart underneath it all. The next series is great as well. I enjoy seeing other characters get their HEAs.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2022This was a slow burn book, but I liked them getting to know each other. Ollie was his own worst enemy, causing him to overstep his sex life and a loneliness that provokes a New Year's resolution that many wouldn't last through. Graham was a self professed introverted book nerd. Two people were never more different. Since they didn't hit it off too well in their first meeting, being thrown together in the work place didn't seem like a best place to be. Time and personal growth, along with change on Graham's part too, made all the difference. As time went on, maybe making the resolution was a good thing for both Ollie and Graham, giving them a chance to grow in love and friendship that may never have happened.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2021The storyline of this book was so fun and the two main characters were equally as fun! Take one goofy twink and life of the party guy with a New Years Resolution and toss in one mild mannered book worm librarian and voila - a laugh out loud feel good story! I enjoyed it very much!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2021A little disappointed with this book. I couldn’t connect with the characters like in the previous two. Ollie just came off as a user and pretty shallow.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2021I loved this book! Despite being a slow burn, it was still sexy and delicious. I loved seeing the development of the characters’ connection and relationship blossom. Swoony, sexy, MM perfection! 😍❤️🔥
- Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2021This is the first book in the love notes series that I have read and it definitely makes me want to go back and read the others even though this one can be read as a standalone.
Graham and Ollie are complete opposites but you know what they say. These guys complete each other perfectly. Throughout the book we see Ollie change so much. This is one new year resolution gone right. I'm super happy that they can be that person for each other. The fact that the main setting is a library is just a bonus 😁

5.0 out of 5 stars omg
damn this must be my favorite so far! i absolutely adored this dynamic. i didn't expect ollie to have a book - when we met him on Jonas' book, i assumed he's just some narcissistic d1ck but the poor guy just wanted love 💕

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable, Low Angst, Funny, Sexy Love Story
Loved this story about the sassy snarky Ollie who was having to assess his life choices and made a new year resolution to give up sex and dating for 60 days and then met the quiet introverted librarian Graham who felt safer around books than people but the chemistry between them was undeniable, if only Ollie hadn’t made his resolution! Ollie and Graham are total opposites but oh so good together. The side characters were also very likeable and I am so glad that Ollie got his own story and HEA❤️

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute romance in a library
Ollie and Graham are complete opposites in a lot of ways and yet able to communicate through shared snark, lol. I empathised with both of them and admired Ollie’s desire to change his behaviour and Graham’s reluctant willingness to open himself up to the possibilities. I was rooting for them both to grow (and to realise how good they’d be for one another). I really liked how they interacted, caring always underlying the teasing and snark. They made me laugh a lot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Introverti extrovert romance
When confident extrovert who swear he will banish sex for 2 months but fall in love with introvert librairean. I have a difficulty to put that book in the frame time of 5 weeks plus 3 weeks of waiting.... -1 star because the 3 weeks waiting was so much boring. Yes I think it was sweet but not needed.
