Kiss And Tell (Boys Of Lake Cliff Book 10) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 164 ratings

It’s bound to get personal when a young woman is found dead and folded in a suitcase. When the evidence suggests a conspiracy involving a senator’s son with a bright future in politics, it becomes an obsession. Chief Lane West makes a pact with the victim and the gruesome case takes a physical and emotional toll.

Determined to find the answers and justice, Lane turns to Mr. Lavender for help and uses himself as bait to expose a brutal murder and a sloppy cover-up. Then, the case takes a dreamy, dangerous turn and the consequences shake the residents of Lake Cliff.

Dreams are strange and fickle things. They’re the truths we whisper when we surrender our consciousness and conscience to the night. Or, they’re meaningless and nothing more than a wild itch, conjured by our restless brains as they relax and unravel. What happens in our dreams doesn’t always stay in our heads. Sometimes, dreams blend with reality and come true. Sometimes, dreams become nightmares as Lane and Lavender confront the monsters under their beds, and the ones who put a dead girl in a suitcase.

When you dream a little dream....
In book 10 of the brilliant Boys of Lake Cliff series, you're delivered the dream pairing as our favourite cop and serial killer work to solve the crime together. Lane and Lavender hooking up to solve a very personal 'body in the suitcase' murder mystery is the hook up you didn't know you needed in your life... Ok, I lie, the thought of these two taking a walk on the wild side has always been a rather salciously delicious dream and the goods are delivered in spades in Kiss and Tell. Expect a few twists and turns and a lot of insight into a number of characters inner desires and dreams. 4.5/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫

Loved the book\s i have read and listened in some cases to.whole series. You have to find them all of you havent. Lavender shows up in In the Kill first. But anyway I loved another helping of Lane and Lavender and what a helping. Most importantly to me anyway is how true Ms Sterling stays to the characters, I have not once groaned at some outrageous or unbelievable change being made. That says a lot over 11 going on 12 books . It also says a lot about Ms . K' s writing. Read this one to finally get the scenes a true fan has been waiting for or because it will make you want to dive into the whole series. I'll save you the search first book Aiden and Lane Hide and Keep. Bring on book 12 K I'm ready

I had to read this book 3 different times! 3! Not because it is a bad story. In fact, this is Ms. Sterling's best yet! No, it was because I kept getting distracted by all the shiny things! Soooo many beautiful shiny things in this book! Of course the best thing about this series is how the boys are family. They will do anything for their family. Even do naughty things for the sake of family🔥. Kiss and Tell is about Lane working a horrible case. Lavender getting involved to help Lane. The chemistry has always been there between them. You really see it this time! But, at the end of the day, it's all about family and the unconditional love they all have for each other!
READ THIS BOOK! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

This is book 10 in the Lake Cliff series and relationships continue to deepen and expand. When face with the callous and brutal murder of a young woman, Lane enlists the aid of his best friend Lavender to bring the guilty to justice. Ms. Sterling did a excellent job with her synopsis so I won't recap the plot but will say the Lavender forms half of several dream teams. Whether he is paired with Aiden, Lane or another character, Lavender always brings a suave urbanity and a slight psychotic glee to any adventure. Ms. Sterling is able to create interesting characters with widely different voices. The ones who populate her Lake Cliff series are some of my favorites and remain a highly recommended read. Start at the beginning and enjoy the ride. I'm already anticipating the mayhem of the next book in the series.

But an amazing one, especially this book which I liked more than the last one. Sterling got her groove back, y’all!

However, given that K. has gradually been aging all of the characters throughout the series, one can only assume that future books will continue to have the following:

    - Complex, well-written plots & dialogue
    - Lots of violence involving guns, knives, technology, & witty repartee
    - erotic gay sex

Sure, the latter is still great reading now that Lane has just crossed the AARP threshold (50). But while we all hope we’ll still be scoring when we’re 80, not sure if I want to know what happens when 80–year-old Lane & Aiden’s lights are turned off and their dentures come out. #partyfoul #dontyoudouslikethatmssterling #probablynotgettinganotherarc #atleastIthinkImfunny

When Lane (cop) and Lavender (scary neighbor) team up to find the murderer of a young woman things get a bit personal. Lane has a case that is driving him crazy. He's not sleeping, eating or enjoying his husband as he usually does. Lavender and his husband are worried about Lane so when Lavender offers to help it takes the relationship into the next phase. I won't give away spoilers but expect some sad bits, lots of misdirection and pearl clutching if you're like me. This is a wonderful addition to the Boys of Lake Cliff but I still want to strangle the author for keeping me up all night.... again!

Sterling are publishing wonderful stories to escape to and help get through this! I have loved each and every one of the stories in this series! I don't include spoilers in my reviews, because why ruin your thrill of reading these stories. I will say this though, if you enjoy a mystery with smart minds, intense couples, and a selected family than I recommend these books for you. Stay safe and happy reading!

It's no secret that this series is one of my favourites. This one was such a surprise, it was kind of different but not! All the boys are in the story, in one way or another, but the main focus is Lane. Which was a major plus for me, because he and Aiden are still my favourites.

I found myself drawn to the storyline even more than usual, as soon as I read the synopsis I was in. However, I did wonder how Ms Sterling was going to proceed. In this book, Lane is all sorts of broken and vulnerable. He's working on a terrible case, he's really beating himself up and Aiden is really worried about him.

My heart squeezed for Lane, and I adored how Aiden's protective instinct came to the fore, he's determined to keep his husband safe. Of course, Lavender has to get involved. You can say what you like about this guy, but whatever your thoughts, he's loyal to his friends.

I don't want to give away any spoilers, I just want to say that the author outdid herself here. There is a little piece of everything in this one, romance, fantasy, action, suspense, mystery and, dear lord, it was so hot my kindle began to sizzle.

The story, as is usually the case with this lady's books, has a good balance of content. It's angsty in parts, but also has lighthearted humourous moments too. It's steamy as all get-out, but emotional too. It also has all the characters you love, if you follow this series. It'll also make you swoon all the swoons, with how it ends up. Recommend the whole series, wonderful characters, cracking mysteries, and different everytime.

The series is outstanding. I'd give 10 stars for each and every book in it, if possible.
No, don't try to read this book first, you need to start at the beginning. You are in for a treat.

    K. Sterling delivers another cracking Boys of Lake Cliff story where nothing is as it seems. Where reality blends into erotic dreams. Where Lavender will need to be at the top of his game to protect his friend and bring justice to a murder victims family. How far he will need to go depends on how much the bad guys threaten those he loves. The only thing guaranteed when reality blurs is that to underestimate Lavender would be fatal.
