    This is a re read for me, I so love this series! Lane is a police chief and Aiden a forensic psychologist. They love and support one another in such an intense relationship. Lane is a beautiful and intelligent criminologist. Aiden is on the spectrum somewhere but he is brilliant, quirky and obsessed with both Lane and his work. I can honestly he is one of my favorite characters ever! Lavender is in this series also and he is a close second.

    Aiden and Lane are two of my favorite K. Sterling characters and it was so wonderful to catch up with them again. This short made me laugh and cry. The scenes with Henry made me laugh so hard I was crying.......Of course Aiden and Lane were smoking hot, as they always are, because they enjoy each other fully. Their steamy scenes are always well written and she has a way of expressing their feelings as well. I have an emotional attachment to Aiden and he is a lovely and beautiful character to read, you just want to hug him, well maybe not hug him because he wouldn't like that, and make him a grilled cheese sandwich. Sorry for the spoiler but I just can't believe it ended the way it did. My first thought: "damn her, who does she think she is leaving me hanging like this?". My fingers are crossed for another book with these sexy men. I am never disappointed with the writing of K. Sterling. Her books are hard to put down once you start reading them so whenever she drops another book, I have to plan on it being a binge read. Thanks again for the wonderful story and updating us on these two wonderful men. I always anxiously await to see what K. Sterling drops next, I just know it will good!

    How did I miss all the warnings that this was a teaser for the next book? I hate when that happens to me. I mean....I would have bought and read it anyway, but I would have been prepared for it.

    This story comes back to Aiden and Lane after 5 years together and it's pretty cute, just like the first book. It is laying the foundation for the next book, which is incredibly suspenseful.

    I enjoy K Sterling's writing, and I especially love these two guys. They are so honest, and blatantly sex-driven, and....well, I love them. :)

    Aiden, sweet sweet Aiden how I love you. You need to read the first one to get a grasp of his true personality and all his quirky traits. You will adore him just as much as I do. He is the perfect, hot MC and Lane is the ideal match for him. I could read about these 2 forever...

    Speaking of which, the ending has been left on a bit of a stalkerish cliff hanger. Instead of being upset, I squealed with joy because this could mean more of my favourite boys! Fingers, toes and all naughty things crossed!! I can't wait to see what K. Sterling does in 2016, I love you woman!

    Highly recommend everything by this author again and again.

    This tale is a sneak peek into Aiden and Lane’s life together 5 years into their relationship. It was great catching up with these guys, they're as cute and hot as ever and I just adore them both, but gotta say Aiden is a wonderful character who always makes me smile. Great to see he's not changed one iota, he's just his usual unintentionally matter-of-fact, hilarious self. They're as in love and happy as ever, and both now uncles to baby Henry, which brings no end of amusement - as you can imagine Aiden’s overreaction to a baby in his home! There was also a little background plot woven into this short read, to what I assume is likely to be the focus of the upcoming Hide and Keep book 2? So I cannot wait for that.

    I loved the first book in this series (at least I hope it's going to be a series, events in this book seemed to be setting up another story), and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. This takes place five years into the MCs relationship. I liked seeing where they are now and also that their relationship is established and strong. Aiden is probably my favourite of Ms Sterling's characters, I love how he responds to Lane. His reaction to Harry, his and Lane's nephew, is hilarious. Nice story, hopefully an interim, before the next.
