    I liked the premise of the story but it was just executed so fast it fell a little flat to me. I would have loved to gain more character development. It was a shorter book so it makes sense for the romance to be pretty insta-love but it even in a short book it was very instant to the point of unbelievable. Maybe it wouldn’t have been bad if we had a bit more character interaction and development.
    One random thing that got to me too was he had injured the villain in the story but then later was out on bond the next day? So he didn’t go to the hospital? Timing seemed a bit off but it didn’t really affect the story.

    That being said, I did love how our hero was a protective alpha type, and our heroine although was a bit dramatic when she was scared (can’t quite judge that though) she knew how to bring her claws out when she needed and I liked that. I would have loved to see more of that.

    I think the book really just needed to be longer. I love the found family trope but since it was so fast it was all just very instant.

    Writing was done well and it was worth the read if you enjoy instalove.

    Brett had me at the first page with his cocky and bluntness. Olivia was so sweet until Brett ruffled her feathers with his set in his ways being the hard nosed Alpha.

    Beth's past unknowingly caught up with her but she finally had family with the Savage Crows and supporting chapters. This book was fast pace but nevertheless action packed with great dialogue and characters. The drama was so great I felt nothing was missing in this novella delivery.
