    Sario has been in darkness for year after he lost someone he love. Being screwed over he took Ella with no idea what he was doing. Overtime they fell for one another and she remembers a key price of information she locked away . Sharing this information changes both of their lives and together they got their happily ever after. This was a great read and I couldn't put it down.

    I will give any mafia romance a try. This one missed the mark. The pacing was very quick and it hindered the storyline. For Stockholm syndrome to work, time needs to pass so that the feelings are believable.
    I also felt the initial reason why Sario takes an interest in Ella was weird. So she could have been anyone as long as they wore that perfume?
    The writing wasn’t terrible but the smut wasn’t anything to rave about. Will give the author another try though.

    I've read quite a few of this author's other series' and I've really enjoyed them. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this one. I'm not often one to enjoy mafia books and I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this one. I was happily surprised to find I really enjoyed these characters. Sario was about as far from what I would expect a mafia don to be as I think he could have gotten. And I loved Ella. She may have been very frightened in the beginning but she refused to let Sario see it. She proved how strong she was and certainly earned Sario's respect. And the heat between these two was off the charts!!!

    There were some really good twists to this story that kept me completely wound up in the book. I would definitely recommend this to my friends!

    Broken Beauty: A Dark Mafia Romance by Honey Palomino Is a dark, fast paced story full of secrets, lies and revenge as this is not your normal Mafia romance abound with violence but more about Sario and Ella who will be thrown together by the scent of Beauty that will change them forever.

    When a business deal has gone bad, Sario rushes to Vinnie to confront him for his betrayal. Once confronted they begin to argue as Sario will reject all offers from Vinnie to make amends when Sario is thrown off his game by a memory. His emotions are turned upside down when he smells the scent of Beauty. Now the memories of his dead wife haunt him as her scent fills the room, when he sees a sexy server in the room wearing that scent he will do the unthinkable as he tells Vinnie to make amends he will take Ella. Ella is a sexy, sassy foul mouth beauty who fights Sario at every turn. He won't tell her why he took her or when he will send her back. Now he has her on his secluded island and doesn't now what to do with her only that he likes having her around and doesn't want to let her go just yet. Will Sario's plan to seduce Ella tame her aggressive behavior? The more she fights him she is plotting ways to hurt him, but Sario is slowly breaking down her barriers with his sexy attentive behavior, he knows she wants him when he hears her crying out his name in her room, should he make his move? With Sario by her side a plan is put into motion as Ella will confront Vinnie to make him confess what he did and why. The ending was a mix of violence and a well sought revenge as Ella embraces Sario's Mafia lifestyle as she has become this strong woman who will match Sario's dark side . With the past behind them both, Sario has taken control of everything that was Vinnie's, he is now able to forget his pain and loss as this dark broken man has finally found love again as he and Ella will begin an exciting journey, one that is full of undying love, passion and happiness. I highly recommend Broken Beauty, you will not be disappointed it was that damn good!!!!

    This is a quick read. I think it could have moved to another level had some aspects been further developed but there was still some intrigue woven in. If you go in not expecting all the details it can still be enjoyable. The characters were interesting, having grief in common but with neither revealing it straightaway.
