    This series is so much fun. Over the top, silly humor that makes for a great escape! Definitely brings back the comforting memories of canned laughter sitcoms I grew up with (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Dick Van Dyke, I Love Lucy, etc...). I appreciate each and every new episode, delving into the other characters and relationships throughout the charming town of Pinyin Bay.

    Dixon's family unit is front and center once again, with his snarky cousin Sabina, cigar-smoking uncle Fonzo, clueless but good-hearted Dixon and solid, practical Yuri. And who knew there were so many ways brownies could go bad?! (Thank goodness for those box mixes, lol)

    It is refreshing to observe the rest of this small town being so accepting of Yuri as Dixon's 'grown man friend'. Also nice this series isn't about rich, perfect people, but shows constant snapshots of life at the level of the 'everyday man' that shows love is love, period.

    This is an entertaining 'world' where homophones and the changing of one letter or word in a Spellcraft, or the artistic crafting (or lack of?) of a 'Seen' can immensely change the meaning of a turn of phrase as well as cause havoc. I have been enjoying the silly escapades and the way, no matter what, all will turn up roses at the end of each 'episode' for Yuri and Dixon.

    This light and comedic series has provided me the best escapism, and is extremely welcome as an alternative to the dreary news in today's world. I look forward to the immense possibilities for more main AND side character development and future 'growth' *smiles* Fun, and definitely recommended series!

    I have followed this story for years now…..searching for Dixon’s uncle, finding and saving Yuri who is now Dixon’s lover and partner. The silliness and fun Jordan is wring is an adorable romp through crazy towm…..Or was it Taco Town? Going to a market on a Saturday for Pinyin Bays businesses , the guys get mixed up in a “seen” gone awry….
    Dixon and Yuri are the total package for what a team should be. Dixon makes the rhymes and Dixon draws the art work. What happens here can happen if a word is written incorrectly when Yuri eats a Brownie and breaks out in a rash all over his face.
    I laugh out loud when reading most of these stories and I bless Jordan for her constant humor
    They have to figure out if that was the reason and then find the magic and then maybe fix it. It’s always a crazy, zany story and always a happy ending…. I laugh out loud when reading most of these stories and I bless Jordan for her constant humor ….

    Dixon and Yuri and the world of Spellcraft are a bright spot for me. Each story is full of laughs as well as sweetness. They are sit-coms with mystery and romance thrown in. This particular story had a few ingredients readers haven't seen before - in addition to the brownie recipe. There was a twist near the end, or maybe it was more a change of focus. (no spoilers!)

    I'm excited for the next one to come out! If you're thinking of reading the Spellcraft stories, I encourage you. They are slapstick humor sure to bring lots of laughs.

    I know there are a lot of people happily devouring this installment in the adventures of Yuri and Dixon. It delivered the over the top silly humor and sweet relationship that I’ve come to expect while giving a deeper look at Dixon’s home town and its unique inhabitants. Yuri’s perspective on Dixon’s family is both funny and touching. This book is an engaging romp through Piñon Bay with not much at stake beyond Yuri’s complexion. It’s just what I needed to escape for a while. Better than a vacation!

    I was eagerly counting down until JCP's new story arc in the Yuri and Dixon Spellcraft series! I love those two and Brownie Points finds them trying to find the Spellcraft that's causing Yuri's allergic reaction. Both men go undercover as bakers to find out exactly what was in the brownie that Yuri ate! There are more antics, mischief and humor with a surprise or two along the way for Yuri and Dixon as readers return to the world of Spellcraft! I can't wait to read more in JCP's newest story arc with my favorite Seer and Scrivener!
