    Bree and Wilder fall in love at first sight. But things don’t go exactly as planned. Bree discovers-at her mother’s 4th wedding-that Wilder served time in prison. It took Wilder a bit longer to convince Bree that life is short and sometimes you need to take chances. He served 5 years and for the past 10 years he has kept to himself and not been in trouble. Bree had to convince herself that he is the man for her and will take care of her and her 2 daughters. And in the end, they live happily ever after.

    This has been a great series. I have enjoyed every book. Short and sweet every one of them. And at my age (76) that's what I needed,short and sweet. LOL 😂

    Bree is a hot mess of a woman in this story and that made her such a real character. I loved that she didn't have a perfect life and most days felt that she was barely making it as a mom and a business owner. Then when Wilder steps in as the perfect guy she's doubtful the entire time. He really did seem too good to be true, but sometimes that's how it is when you meet your perfect match. The scene when he walked the girls down the aisle just melted my heart.

    There's a teaser at the end of this story for the new spin off series for the Rugged Mountain MC and I can't wait to get into all the bikers that reside on this mountain. I just love this world that Khloe Summers has created.

    An age gap romance between a reclusive mountain man and a single mother. One date is all it takes for Wilder to realize that Bree is everything he’s ever wanted in a woman. She’s got major baggage and he has a secret, can they make things work or are they destined to be just a hook up? There was a lot of spice and a lot of emotion in this romance. Bree struggles with whether or not to love again, feeling like a bad mother, and an extremely toxic relationship with her mother. Wilder struggles with being accepted due to mistakes from his past and chooses instead to live as a recluse. One thing he doesn’t struggle with is accepting Bree for exactly who she is and where she is in life. I really enjoyed the sweet ending and how it brought her old life and her new life together.

    After a very awkward start to their first date, it gets worse ... and better, but Wilder doesn't run away. He seems like he'd be perfect for Bree, but what is it that he's afraid to tell her from his past?

    Very good book! I loved it! It's a sweet and sexy short read that I couldn't put down. I have read a few books from the Rugged Mountain Ink series and they are all great. I think this is my favorite series from Khloe Summers. You should definitely read one. Enjoy!.

    She doesn't know Wilder has his own secret. He does know that there's something intense between them that he wants to explore.

    Will she stick to her man once she finds out what his secret is?

    I truly enjoyed this read 📚! Bree is an endearing character while Wilder is the perfectly caring male lead!
