If you love Christmas novels with plenty of steam, Blizzard Bluff is the series for you.
Trust Laramie Briscoe to provide engaging characters in a well-built world I want to revisit again and again. Carly Phillips, NY Times bestselling author.
Holly, jolly and all that's naughty...
Holly Wreath
Christmas is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year. But not this year; at least not for me.
Laid off from my job, left at the altar, and wanting to bury my head until the new year I head to a family friend's cabin.
Blizzard Bluff was in my rearview as soon as I graduated high school, but now I'm heading back to lick my wounds.
The last person I expect to see is the boy who made my heart pound as a teenager. Only he's a man now, and he's going to be the one to turn my holiday around.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2022A darling holiday read! A second chance romance that starts with a bride left at the altar. Holly made a life for herself in the big city. After her first love Lucas broke up with her, she left for college and never looked back. Then her seemingly perfect life imploded and all she wants is to go home. Lucas struggles every day to keep his head above water. Life didn't turn out like he planned but people are depending on him so he pushes through. Now Holly is home and they have a second chance at happiness. If Hallmark Christmas movies had spice, this would be the perfect story for them. Can't wait for more in this series!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2022Holly was dumped at the altar and lost her job, so she's returning home to Blizzard Bluff for the holidays. She's staying in a friend's cabin and is expecting someone to come look at the pipes before a storm hits. She's not expecting that person to be Lucas, her high school sweetheart. There's still something between them. Can they start over?
I received an ARC of this book from Grey's Promotions and this is my voluntary, honest, unbiased review. This sweet and steamy, second chance romance is a quick read that will pull you in. It's an excellent holiday story that reminds us that sometimes what we need most in life is that which was there all along. I truly enjoyed this story and recommend it for anyone who likes small town romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2023It was cute, just too short!!
And some small time lapse discrepancies. Like how she was going into the cabin for a few days but would be back for Christmas, and then Holly and Lucas spent 1 night there together, and the next day they both went home for Christmas
Plus I woulda like some more details of the 1 night in the cabin …
- Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2022Luke and Holly's story was absolutely amazing. I could relate to it on so many levels as I too married a man I've know my whole life although we only spent 5 years apart and it was during our late middle school and high school years. I loved how they reconnected and how he was a bit guarded when he asked her to think about what he was asking. Their family noting in at the end was perfect. What a great holiday read.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2022Laramie Briscoe wrote a very sweet Christmastime book with The Cabin at Candy Cane Lane. It’s a second chance love story and I loved it so much. Holly gets left at the alter AND laid off from her job on the same day! So what’s the best thing to do, go home to family; but she also runs into Lucas, the love of her life from high school until they broke up after graduation when she left to pursue her dreams. Wonder what her dreams are now?…
- Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2022The Cabin at Candy Cane Lane is a wonderful holiday read. I love this one so much. Holly and Lucas will give you all the feels as they reconnect. Holly is home to lick her wounds and figure out what is next in life. Lucas is struggling to keep the family business going. Second chances in a snowstorm will bring Holly and Lucas closer than they were in High School. They are so sweet together. I could not get enough of Holly and Lucas. This quick holiday read is one you will not be disappointed in. Go one click this now and meet Holly and Lucas now.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2022Holly is a small time girl leaves her home in Blizzard Bluff to move to the big city. When her life gets an unexpected hit she goes back home. Lucas is a small time boy who has taken over the family business and is trying to keep one foot in front of another. When a snow storm brings them together read as their story unfolds. This is a quick read. But one worth it. Laramie does not disappoints when it comes to this story.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2022This has sweet holiday romance written all over it. Add in a second chance/small town couple and it is a great novella for the holidays. This story also reminds us that sometimes the things you need in life are with us all along and running away for something better is not always the right thing.
