Cianna's Fortune (The Caragh Chronicles, Book 3) Kindle Edition
Cyrus is haunted by the memory of a young girl he met in his uncle’s garden when he was twelve. While on an ambassadorial mission, he embarks from a ship and spots a familiar face. Cianna doesn’t recognize him, but he remembers her. But how to renew a friendship with someone who might not even remember him? Determined to give it a try, Cyrus embarks on a scheme to persuade her to let him into her life again.
Three young women, bound by friendship and faith, seek the Lord's will in their lives in The Caragh Chronicles. Each book brings a tale of love and faith in a medieval fantasy novella. Cianna's Fortune contains touches of Cinderella, the exotic spice of foreign lands, and a sweet friends-to-lovers romance via letters.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2022I have enjoyed the books I have read from this author. Although this is a novella I found the characters and the story engaging.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2022Cianna is a strong, clever, kind, gentle, and hardworking heroine who knows her own mind. Cyrus is a much more active and intentional prince than most others that are found in Cinderella retellings. It is so fun watching their courtship develop gradually through multiple stages. Rachel Rossano does a great job setting the scene and bringing multiple cultures to life. The characters are developed and engaging. It is such a delight getting to hear the story from both perspectives in an illuminating and non repetitive way. This is a quick and amusing read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2022I really liked this novella! As described there were hints of Cinderella, but it didn't overwhelm the story. Rachel Rossano writes complex and introspective characters, and even though this work is shorter than her usual, both Cianna and Cyrus are three-dimensional and engaging. This work may also be considered a little lighter in tone than Rossano's full-length novels, but that did not detract from the story at all in my opinion. I haven't read the other books in this Caragh Chronicles series by the other authors but plan to take a look at them now.
