The wedding goes on but you will laugh who walks down the aisle with her as her Maid of Honor!

The wedding goes on but you will laugh who walks down the aisle with her as her Maid of Honor!
Chef Dani and her Sou Chef along with her young niece and two dogs (plus the Nanny and one of the Sou Chef's workers (he is also a private investigator) take off for a wedding in France. It is being held at a magnificent mansion and vineyard. They are all excited to be going as there is a lot to see and do there. Everything is perfect or so they all think. But in the background there is trouble afoot. Both the Bridesmaid and the Maid of Honor are jealous of the Bride. Then there is also the man who wanted to be the wine master but was not picked. The morning of the wedding the bride is missing! They can not find her anywhere! Finally the Sou Chef gets into the act (having been asked of course) and takes on his other role as private investigator. With the help of Anna (the niece) and Killer--they are able to find her! The wedding goes on but you will laugh who walks down the aisle with her as her Maid of Honor! Of course since it is Chef Dani who is in charge of the food it all sounds really delicious-lots of unusual recipes at the end of the book!

I enjoyed reading about the grounds of Chateau Mardrigal and the cave system under it. I also enjoyed reading about all the preparation it took behind the scenes to pull off a spectacular wedding. This story also illustrates how the ancient battle of good vs evil is always present in our lives?

Most intriguing plot and excellent finish. Characterizations really carried the story. I worry that so much fawning over money and perfection gets a tad bit tiring, but I enjoyed it nonetheless!
