5.0 out of 5 stars Personal, honest and relatable
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a collection of stories from both US and UK chronically ill patients with a variety of diagnoses. Their accounts are honest, and often hopeful. As a chronically unwell patient myself (EDS, POTs etc) I particularly related to the more positive aspects - living life to the fullest despite our challenges. It's the angle I took in my own book (Brace Yourself is fiction but has a character who lives with chronic illness) and I know that it can be hard to express positivity in the face of adversity, so well done for capturing this alongside the more gritty realities.
As a series of individual tales it is possible to read in short bursts for those who can't read for longer periods.
The format was not compatible with my Kindle but I was able to download it to my ipad.

I reviewed this Book for Cameron. I also have Fibromyalgia an Invisible Illness. I really wished I had this book whilst I was getting diagnosed. In fact I will be taking it with me along any events I do or appointments. It would be a great tool to use for people who are struggling. They may find comfort from this book...📖
