Harper Crane is 3 for 3 with this steamy short story! I have loved every story from the Stellar Bonds Series so far. This is a great example of a story within a world that can stand on its own. The intimacy of the sex scenes is next level. Crane clearly takes a lot of care in being thoughtful about issues related to consent and also how the characters should interact with each other during vulnerable moments. This is not a surface-level smut, you become invested in wanting to know more about the characters quite easily. My only complaint is that I’m sad I can’t binge read the entire series because it’s still being written!
