    This is my favourite read of the year so far! Held my interest from beginning to end and left me with so many questions!

    The story focuses on Jack, the newest member of a society of immortal men and women. Closest to Jack is Alannah, the history professor, and Alexander, one of the first immortals. As Jack meets more of the society their history and purpose is slowly revealed to him and he is drawn into a struggle between the different factions of their society.

    This is a book that questions life and death, and our right to each. It will leave you thinking. It is emotionally charged and full of tension and strong characters.
