J.C. Moore is an author known for his work in the horror and thriller genres. He writes about ordinary people facing quiet, insidious fear—the kind that settles in and stays. He’s worked as a bartender, IT guy, musician, and horse farm manager. His stories often take place in small towns and quiet houses, where nothing much happens until it does.

He loves baseball, loud guitars through old amps, and roads that disappear into the woods. He is an active member of the Horror Writers Association. His music found its way into TV and film, but it is his novels that stay with people. When he is not writing, you can usually find him digging through old paperback bins, flipping through used records, or hanging out with his dog.

    This book of short stories is good. I think I've read so much horror through my life (and watched and listened to) that I've become somewhat immune. There were many times that I found myself saying ewww or yuck. That's a compliment as far as I'm concerned.
