    This is the story of Mariah, a bakery shop owner, and Jayden, the CEO of a tech company. Five years ago, they shared a one-night stand that led to the birth of a son, a secret Jayden knew nothing about. The following day, Jayden left town without a word to Mariah. Now, five years later, he returns due to his father's serious illness. Upon seeing Mariah again, Jayden wants to make amends for his sudden departure. However, Mariah is hesitant and slow to trust him.

    Meanwhile, Mariah is keeping a secret—her five-year-old son.

    When Jayden sees the boy, he begins to wonder if... The story unfolds with plenty of trust-building between the two characters.

    I really enjoyed this story. Whitney does a fantastic job of character development. You can feel how much Jayden desires a future with Mariah, while she remains cautious. I also appreciated how the story emphasizes both characters taking responsibility for their past mistakes and working to rectify them.

    Jayden left his home town for bigger and better things , not knowing what he left behind. Mariah was left in their home town without him even saying goodbye. And left with much more than she bargained for but she made the best of it and is living a good life running her bakery and raising her son.

    But that all changed the moment Jayden came back and realized what he was missing.

    Entrepreneur’s Forgotten Hearts has charm, some suspense and definitely a page turning small town romance. The story is beautifully written, well balanced and perfectly executed by Whitney Wayne. Whitney Wayne continues to show what a brilliant author she is with each book I’ve read by her so far. In my opinion, she is a phenomenal storyteller and writer who pours her all into the books she creates and writes for a reader’s enjoyment. Entrepreneur’s Forgotten Hearts is the story of Jayden and Mariah. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Jayden and Mariah as well as seeing their story come to life throughout the book. I would most definitely give Entrepreneur’s Forgotten Hearts as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing romances from Whitney Wayne in the future.

    There is a lot of good with this story, but there were a couple of things that bothered me. 1. if you are going to read this, READ it, the AI voice misprounces words, and the emotions don't translate. 2. the FMC is so bipolar about what she wants from the MMC, but jumps in bed with him after just a look, then is unnecessarily angry with him. No build-up. 3. She keeps sleeping with him with no protection. Which from their previous experience and her feelings should have been considered. 4. Alcohol consumption while pregnant. 5. Some of the language during the intimate scenes seemed overkill and out of place with the rest of the scene and story. The writing style made it very easy to follow along. The FMC has a strong relationship with her family. I was surprised that with a close as Mariah is with Jessica, Mariah needed to be introduced to Jessica's parents. Otherwise, the story is a sweet, easy read annoy second chance.

    This was a second chance story. Jayden comes back home because his dad's health is not good. He comes face to face with his past and much more. Mariah forced to pick up the broken pieces of her heart when Jayden left has a secret from not only him, but her best friend who is Jayden's sister. Read how these two work out their issues and get their HEA.

    -A second-chance romance with an emotional journey and a satisfying ending.The heroine’s actions might frustrate some readers, especially regarding her inconsistent stance on the relationship. The lack of a clear past recap and minimal conflict may leave readers wanting more depth. Still, the smooth writing makes it an easy, engaging read for those who enjoy realistic love stories.

    The MFC really annoyed me with how she didn't want anything to do with the MMC, yet she still kept sleeping with him and then saying they aren't together. And obviously sleeping with him with no protection was how they got into this situation in the first place, so she should have at least learned not to do that again, but each quick, steamy scene still has no protection or even a discussion about it. I was also a little disappointed that there was no good recap of what happened in the past. Just bits and pieces to try to put together to understand what they were like back then and what made him decide to leave at that moment. The writing style made it very easy to flow from one page to the next, I just kept waiting for something bigger to happen that never did, so it was more like reading about two normal people in their everyday lives.

    5=will read again
    4=recommend to everyone
    3=recommend to anyone liking that particular writing style/trope
    2=do not recommend
    1=DNF.
