    This book has four dark tales involving dragons. I don't usually read much grim dark, however, I'm a huge fan of the Dragon Rider books so I wanted to give this one a try to see how the author explores the dark side. I believe readers of dark stories will like these tales. The writing is exceptionally well done. My favorite is "The Tatzelwurm" tale. In my opinion this one could be turned into a novel. So I recommend this book to you all. (I received this book free as an ARC and I am giving a true and honest review)!

    Old seafarers maps often show sineous lizardlike creatures cavorting in strange seas and bearing the legend : Here be dragons.
    Nominally those indicated uncharted areas full of unknown creatures. Things that may be dangerous beyond anything known. And perhaps infested with the very creatures from myth.
    Dark Dragons introduce the reader to such creatures. Gargoyles. Cerberus. Manticores. Kraken.. Dragon shifters. Tatzelwurms (yes I never heard of those either).
    Nightmares.
    And being brought to gruesome life in this compendium called Dark Dragons. Beware! There be dragons here! For real.
