I'm R.K. Lander and I have always loved fantasy.

I read Tolkien and Hobb. I read Robert Jordan and Will Wight. I read all those classic fantasy books and when there was nothing left to read, I wrote my own stories, the ones I wanted to read but couldn't find.

I love epic fantasy. The battles, the creatures, the riveting stories and sweeping worlds. I love the intrigue, the politics, the strategy and the philosophy behind the magic systems. I love imaginary worlds that make sense, and above all, I love the characters.

    I just finished the first book in a new series by R.K. Lander.
    I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Dawn of Adakia as a sequel to Silvan Chronicles. I really enjoyed the first series because of the characters, worldbuilding, and eloquent storytelling.
    This book picks up soon after the series ends and follows Fel’annár in his new adventure in the Second Elven World of Naz’arán. You will find old friends, make new friends, and their are new villains to overcome. It's an action filled, sometimes emotional ride that will leave you saying, 'Wait! I want more!'. Grab this one and hold on tight. You won't be disappointed.

    I absolutely love all of these books! I have read them all, and reread all of them again before reading each new one that comes out.
    The depth of emotion that each character in these books has is amazing. I don't think I have ever encountered it in any other book that I have read, and I consume a LOT of books!
    THIS is how stories should be told. THIS is the depth, the level of emotions, that should saturate tales that are shared. These stories evoke in you such feelings, that it impacts your life when reading them. You feel the grief, the anger, the joy, the love, everything, like you are there yourself. If anyone can read these books and not cry along with the characters when they do, you are a far stronger person than I. There are few stories that I have read that have actually made me feel honored to have read them. These are those stories.
    I don't typically write book reviews but I just can't NOT give my opinion of these books and this author.
    I am a fan for life. I will read any book this author writes. Then I will read them again and again.

    I love the Silvan series when I read them for the first time. The Shiran was a step up from that series. And just when I didn't think I could find a series I like more .... until Dawn of the Adaki came out. R. K. The intrigue and impending evil being resurrected keeps the reader on their toes. You get drawn into the story and you will find yourself just dying to find out what will happen next and what the outcome will be. A wonderful series and I can't hardly wait for the next book.

    Another great story from RKLander. This follows on from the Silvan series and features some well known characters amongst the new ones we meet. Fel’annár is now in the next world, on leave from his Shiran duties, and travelling to finally meet again the mother he lost when a baby. However, along the way he falls foul of treachery and finds himself in a land in turmoil. The world building is first class and the character building outstanding. Well worth a read
