I'm R.K. Lander and I have always loved fantasy.

I read Tolkien and Hobb. I read Robert Jordan and Will Wight. I read all those classic fantasy books and when there was nothing left to read, I wrote my own stories, the ones I wanted to read but couldn't find.

I love epic fantasy. The battles, the creatures, the riveting stories and sweeping worlds. I love the intrigue, the politics, the strategy and the philosophy behind the magic systems. I love imaginary worlds that make sense, and above all, I love the characters.

    I just finished the first book in a new series by R.K. Lander.
    I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Dawn of Adakia as a sequel to Silvan Chronicles. I really enjoyed the first series because of the characters, worldbuilding, and eloquent storytelling.
    This book picks up soon after the series ends and follows Fel’annár in his new adventure in the Second Elven World of Naz’arán. You will find old friends, make new friends, and their are new villains to overcome. It's an action filled, sometimes emotional ride that will leave you saying, 'Wait! I want more!'. Grab this one and hold on tight. You won't be disappointed.

    I love the Silvan series when I read them for the first time. The Shiran was a step up from that series. And just when I didn't think I could find a series I like more .... until Dawn of the Adaki came out. R. K. Landers succeeded in writing another book that is full of action and creates an adrenaline rush with her actions scenes. The intrigue and impending evil being resurrected keeps the reader on their toes. You get drawn into the story and you will find yourself just dying to find out what will happen next and what the outcome will be. A wonderful series and I can't hardly wait for the next book.

    This continuation of the Silvan Saga is worthy of reading. If you loved the first series this is not to be missed. The story continues in another realm and it promises to be as gripping as the rest. Can't wait for the Company to reunite, but will they all? Truly RK Lander has a way with words and she leaves you hanging, so much that you impatiently wait for the rest of the tale to unfold. That's my only complaint! If you haven't had the pleasure of exploring this elven world or getting into the mind of an awesome storyteller, then you're in the right place if you pick up any of her works. I wish I too could go back to the beginning as a 'novice' and re-read the adventure from the beginning! Absolutely brilliant, gripping and not to be compared to anyone. Ms Lander is a legend in her own right!

    Another great story from RKLander. This follows on from the Silvan series and features some well known characters amongst the new ones we meet. Fel’annár is now in the next world, on leave from his Shiran duties, and travelling to finally meet again the mother he lost when a baby. However, along the way he falls foul of treachery and finds himself in a land in turmoil. The world building is first class and the character building outstanding. Well worth a read
