About the author

Jason Curtis (Coach Curtis) is a highly experienced strength and conditioning coach and bestselling author who has published over a dozen books on the development of health, fitness and sports performance. He owns and runs an S&C gym in the UK and works with hundreds of clients and athletes each week.

I am a fan of Jason Curtis and his work through the deadly dozen method and the race. I am doing my first deadly dozen in August and after interviewing him on my podcast @couchtocoached I decided to buy this manual.
It’s layout is fantastic, setting goals in really motivating ways (short - long term), the suggestion to test pre 12 weeks and then the plan itself detailed in a ‘card’ format so each session (strength, labour and journey) are clearly explained. Well worth the purchase…yes you can download electronically but your phone is a distraction. Memento Mori. Ben
