    Good descriptions of different worlds, character skills, and battles. The concept of makers vs. humans is interesting. I enjoyed learning about different tools and things makers can create. Overall, it was engaging enough to keep me going. However, this book misses the deep background story, witty dialogue, and emotional evolution/entanglements I enjoy. I think it is geared for a slightly more masculine audience.
