Espionage, kick-butt female lead, spice, fake identities AND romance? SIGN ME UP! Here are the TOP 5 things I loved about this book! Action packed from the very first page to the very last. That spicy scene in the night club. iykyk (and all the steamy scenes for that matter.) The females are so freaking strong and powerful. The men are dangerous and hot. The suspense made this hard to put down. Highly recommend picking this up if you want to feel like you are in the middle of a sexy action movie. **This is book three in the Street Kings series. I do recommend reading the other books in the series before jumping in to this one. I was provided and arc copy in exchange for an honest review.

    Rey and Lily had the kind of history some of us only dream about until she was gone. That Rey finds her again and can’t help but be drawn to her even more than ever, I think Rey will have his work cut out for him if he wants her to be his. Lily knows the danger and fights it, but like so many of us who fall in love, it’s the real deal and she can’t help but be brought back into his arms. With lots of suspense and romance, Sienna brings us into a world different than our own and we can live, at least for a few hours in the world of the Street Kings.

    So we get Rey & Lilly's story and it does get a bit complicated. I admit as much as I enjoyed it, I did have to go back and reread in a few places to understand. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I was surprised towards the end when Rey didn't catch on that Lilly was part of a certain group? I also didn't understand what BND was that was mentioned a few times? Did I miss something? But it was pure escapism fun to read about the women from other books gathering together to kick some booty. And the King men were definitely swoonworthy.
    I always love Author Snow books because there are no wimpy women, no shy women, no women afraid to speak their mind. It's like a delightful palette cleanser after any number of awful misogynistic, full of misspellings, big boob romps on the beach that clog Amazon's algorithms.

    I love this series that Sienna has created.

    This was Rey and Lily’s story. It was a second chance story.

    Lily has some secrets that she is keeping. Rey wants to find out those secrets and protect her. Part of that protection is also trying to get her back.

    I loved the mystery in this book and I am a sucker for 2nd chance romance.

    Whose ready to go on a roller coaster of a ride with a book. But in the best ways possible. This is that book. Rey and Lilly once dated before but under different circumstances. Well new circumstances has them coming back together. Which neither one of them expected that to happen especially since they both are not over what happened in the past between them. Sienna takes us on a ride with these two between the drama of the past with them and then the drama of what’s happening and what’s to come. Will have you on the edge of your seat and reading till the end so you too can know the secrets. Oh man those secrets had my jaw on the floor, omg!!!! Oh and before I forget Lilly and Rey steam up these pages, you may need a fan while reading.

    It was difficult to determine the storyline for a few chapters. Many characters with most having more than one name. I re-read several parts in the gook to find my place. Having to do this did not make this book a favorite of mine.

    Sienna Snow has definitely become my go to author as well as the Street Kings have become my favorite series. After finishing the first book Dangerous King, I fell down the rabbit hole of these intense alpha males whose bond to one another was stronger than if they actually were true blooded brothers. What makes these books unique are the cast of culturally diverse male characters who through no fault of their own were placed in situations that caused them to do whatever they had to survive. In survival mode they made a choice that would change their futures they attempted to rob Arin King. Arin adopted the boys and became the patriarch of the King clan. He saw something in those young boys and helped to hone and mold them into what they are today. Good, bad, or indifferently dangerous these men exude power and sex appeal in total panty melting fashion. But wait did I mention that the female characters are just as diverse and cunning as their male counterparts? One theme that has become overrated is the damsel in distress whose mouth writes a check her ass can’t cash. This is not case for any of these females, in fact not only could they cash the check, but they can also add interest on the payment. Lilly and Reyhan’s story fills in perfectly. Lilly is the new and mysterious art appraiser at the Dayal-King gallery. Lilly is smart and beautiful but harboring a huge secret. Lilly has been in hiding and running from a past that she knows is going to catch up with her eventually. She tries to protect those around her by refusing to form attachments with people to prevent them from becoming collateral damage. Reyhan is an enigmatic figure playing in two worlds, the CIA and his family business. However, there was one CIA mission that he can’t let go. Not so much because of the fact that he was nearly killed but more because of the beautiful woman who not only betrayed him but was the one that pulled the trigger. He encounters Lilly in the gallery and there is an instant pull. There is something about her that has him more intrigued by her than what he should be. Then old scores, debts, and promises are due pulling Lilly and Reyhan right in the center. Will they be able settle up? Trust me you will enjoy reading every page to find out. So much so that you will have a hard time putting this book down. These books are all standalone but so, so, so much more enjoyable if read in order. No spoilers here but after finishing Deceptive Knight you will be primed and chomping at the bit for the next book Ruthless Heir. This is Sam and Devani’s book ! I CAN’T WAIT !!!
