I love Donovan so much I got his initials tattooed on my wrist. Great follow up to Dirty Filthy Rich Men. Donovan’s love for Sabrina is endless and all encompassing.

    O.M.G. Laurelin Paige knocks it out of the park again! Dirty Sexy Player picks up Sabrina and Dominic’s story right where it left off in Dirty Filthy Rich Men. Everything is out in the open now. Can Sabrina put all of those secrets aside to be with Dominic?
    I can not think of a better continuation of the story of Sabrina and Dominic.

    This follow up has it all- discovery, acceptance, laughter, etc. It was really nice to see just how the love story between Sabrina and Dominic could evolve and grow into something more concrete. It also was a nice book that got me to think (something that I normally wouldn’t say about romance novels). Dominic is not a nice, safe man to be around- he is domineering, controlling and has this need to orchestrate good deeds from the shadows-most of the time for selfish reasons but there is something slightly romantic about the reasons why he does these things to help Sabrina that I can’t help but like (becomes VERY EVIDENT that some of these so called “spying” tendencies are well worth it at the end of the book).

    Despite the fact that Dominic’s “spying” is somewhat creepy (depending on how you look at it, some may say it is excessively creepy), the spice between these two, even with Sabrina knowing everything, is still ******! I know I may be the odd one out in this, but I think it is sometimes nice to have someone just take over so to speak (especially since I’ve spent most of my working career attempting to “climb the ladder” in a male dominated world). I also really enjoyed how most of the time when Sabrina was questioning if things had really begun to change, Dominic was there to prove to her that they had- like he had anticipated (which he did) her reservations and knew exactly how to answer them. Communication may not come easily between them, but it was nice to see them make strides towards getting better at it. I also LOVED the couple of plot twists that were thrown in- one I had a feeling was coming but still- they were perfectly placed and everything I could have wanted in this story.

    4.5 because I don't like the rape or assault role play that Sabrina seemed to need so much. It's just weird and doesn't work for me. I think the story would've been just as great with a different twist using the dark elements of the story. They had over a decade of deceit, secrets and revelations to wade through to find love. Plenty of material there to work with.

    It is established that Donovan is a prime alpha dominant and Sabrina, not quite the typical submissive or would even consider herself a Submissive, but she has that Dark side and loves to act out her fears in sexual role play. 1 or 2 scenes of the rape/attack role play are understandable and hot but more? The book didn't need this to be so front stage centered to their relationship.

    This book reminded me a lot of Reeve and Emily from First Touch. However Sabrina and Donavan's book made me feel exhausted and relieved to finish. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions, full of steamy sex, kinky make out sessions, and romantic. Despite the weird plot element, I still love Laurelin's work and this book is worth the read and is a keeper in my hot alpha male shelf. The HEA was perfect Donavan style. I think that was my favorite part!

    Often times you come across a book, or a series that just has your mind going - WOW. You're literally mind blown because it was so good, and affected you in such a way that has you awe-struck by just how amazing it was. When I first read Dirty Filthy Rich Boys, and then Dirty Filthy Rich Men.. I had a feeling that this would become one of those series that I would obsess over. And by the time I read those fateful last words of Men? I KNEW the wait for Dirty Filthy Rich Love would feel excruciating. (Well. You know what I mean. I *HAD* to have it! I NEEDED to know what was going to happen!) Laurelin Paige is an OUTSTANDING author - so many of her books are my favorites. But this series? Donovan and Sabrina? I have to say they are my favorite - by far.

    If you haven't read Boys and Men, you need to. This is NOT a standalone and the history of these characters are so very important to the story.

    Sabrina - our heroine of the story is left confused and conflicted when we start Dirty Filthy Rich Love - book 2 in this series. We begin not long after book 1 ended. And Donovan - Oh, how I love you and hate you at the same time - You can completely understand and identify with Sabrina throughout this story. I really loved how we got to know more about Donovan, and could understand him more. I felt like I knew where he was coming from. Theirs is a complicated, twisted, beautiful story. My heart couldn't keep up with all the emotions I felt. I love these two as individual characters - and even more so together. You got the impression that they could be unstoppable if they allow themselves to be. But it's the journey to get there that has you smiling, laughing, crying, screaming, yelling, and needing a fan because it was just so. Damn. Hot. and INTENSE.

    The Dirty Duet has solidified itself as one of my top reads, not only of 2017, but EVER.

    It has everything you need. Sexy, domineering, smoldering hot alpha male going toe to toe with a smart, beautiful, strong woman who stands up for what she wants, and who she loves.

    HIGHLY recommended read. A MUST HAVE in your library if you ask me.

    I loved this book. The storyline and the humour. I'm a huge fan of T L Swan's books. Read so many of her series. After reading The Stopover I sold the book to so many who also loved and laughed about it, just love the story. It had a life message. After reading The Takeover, I loved this book too but was extremely disappointed that the connection between 1 & 2 was missing. I'm thrilled that this 3rd book does bring the three books together. Can't wait for the 4th book. Well done T L Swan.
