- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2017Lama Jampa Thaye is one of the foremost Western born Lamas of Tibetan Buddhism and presents a very clear short summary of Buddhism explained clearly for an American and European audience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a quick introduction of the key ideas of this ancient understanding of the mind and the world.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2021For anyone who would like to have a genuine sense of the Buddhist-informed life. Buddhism has been an aspect of my human experience that perfectly fits the adage of the more I know, the more I realize how little I know...and that's just fine. The distress I fall into is in telling myself that I really should know more. As I said...just a bit more to learn.
If this would be the first book on Buddhist living that you read or the thousandth, its worth reading...and that is an absolutely central understanding of Buddhist wisdom.
