- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2024I have previously reviewed this author's count to ten with dogs book and found it useful. This book can be viewed as a logical extension of that book.
Here, the child not only learns to count to twenty but is provided lots of other learning opportunities that involve comparing and contrasting, more advanced language concepts, dot to dots, mazes, identifying differences, coloring, and simple math equations. The book would be a good supplement to kindergarten learning concepts as a means to prepare or supplement classroom curriculum.
Recommended for ages three through seven.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2024This book to help children learn to count to 20 is extremely professional and has a wide variety of activities, from matching to searches to coloring to drawing to tracing numbers. A child will not get bored with a book that's as good as this one. The dog theme makes it even more fun. Highly recommend!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2024My kindergartener loved it! She thought the illustrations of the dogs were adorable. It was just the right level. Great parent tips at the beginning. Perfect!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2024If you are looking for activities for your kids then this is a great book. It's more of an activity book than a story book. So not really something that you would read to them at night but has tons of good activities to keep them entertained and learning during the day!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2024This is a must have for children 4-6! Many different games and a wide variety exercises. Kids will have so much fun with this they will not even realize they are learning.
My 4 year old granddaughter loves dogs and loves numbers. This is perfect for her!
Well done!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great activity book
Excellent activity book that accompanies the picture book. Great quality. Activities are engaging and educational. My daughter is 3 - so we are using this to help colouring and pencil use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile for different ages
There is a very wide variety of interesting experiences within the book. Therefore, even my older child (who is already a math's whizz) enjoyed completing tasks and was motivated to keep going! As a parent, I was also engaged in tasks, and I enjoyed bonding with my child while solving puzzles. So, I think this is a book that kids can engage in as a toddler, but also enjoy as they continue to develop!
The author really specialises in these kinds of books and we have also enjoyed her other titles, too.
a) Dinosaur Activity Book
b) Feelings Activity Book.
The brightly coloured covers make each one distinguished, and they also match to a corresponding picture book.
The matching rhyming picture book-Dog's. A Counting and Comparing book- was equally enjoyable and fun to read. Again very informative and humorous all at the same time!
