    I loved this book! Honestly i usually steer clear of certain kinds of shifter stories but i was totally surprised at how the story captured me. First time reading a book with dragons and i don't think i could have found a better story to start with. So many emotions and thrills the intensity is off the charts! Non stop action check! Amazing heroine check! Crazy deranged evil villans check! Mystery and suspense check! Incredible unconditional love check! Seriously it has it all. What else could a reader want? I am so excited to read the next book when it releases. Tierney has a long war ahead of her and her family. I don't know if they can survive the Ilyuim. They seem to be raining terror all over the place. So many things happen in the book and i do not want to ruin it for anyone so no spoilers. But dang it i can't wait to see what Jax and Tierney can do once they are fully bonded!! As things move along they keep gaining allies so i think they will have a fighting chance. 5 stars is not enough to show how much i truly love the story. A brilliant author that i will follow and read whatever she publishes!!

    This book captivated me from the first, and I read it in one evening and night. The characters and their abilities are well developed and interesting, and the storyline is unlike anything else I have read. It does get confusing at times, but reading the confusing passage again helps sort it out. There are occasional mistakes in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

    I think that it would be easier to understand the story if there was a novella or a whole other book before this one, because I felt like I was jumping into the middle of a story. A little bit of time is spent on the backstory, but not much.

    This book is definitely not for anyone under 18 or so because it has graphic sex and a lot of violence. In spite of feeling like there should be more explained than there is, I would be willing to read further books in the series.

    I loved every word on every page! Ha. Totally in love with Jax, Teirney and Sami! Though, I love Jax the most. Lol It's taken me a few days, okay, a week or so to write this review because... I am still in Dragon hangover. Seriously. I can't stress just how much awesome this story has in it.

    It's a hurricane blowing through your mind... It leaves you windblown, mind blown and in a state of.. holy crap, I need the next book now! I mean, dude.. its just awesome sauce!

    Three Dragons, a wolf pack, ​a scared Kitty and a helluva lot of emotions make this one fantastic story! I am a HUGE Dragon fan and I can say to date, this is one of the BEST stories I have read. Not taking away from the others but that is my honest opinion. The action, the emotions and the level of chaos are well balanced. The characters -though there were times where I wanted to put a boot in a certain blue Dragons hind end - were well rounded.

    Could not put it down, once I started. Well developed plot, characters and a great twist. LOVED IT!!! Cannot wait for the next in the series. The sexual tension between two of the characters liked to have killed me! But, I will admit that there were definitely some serious editing issues. Due to that, as it's truly a pet peeve of mine, some of the story line seemed to lag in just a couple of places.

    I truly enjoyed how, as they seek answers, they also extended succor and shelter when needed.

    I'm very curious as to how the rest of the characters and their storylines flesh out.

    I still give it 5 stars, 1. because of such a unique and intriguing storyline. 2. how the author manages to literally keep you on the edge of your seat! 3. I am a fan of longer length books and this book delivers that in spades. And 4. looking forward to reading the rest of the series!!

    I loved this book. I wasn't expecting to. But I did!

    I am a huge, HUGE fan of this genre. It's been called so many names over the years Ive forgotten what we are currently calling it. Urban fantasy? Paranormal romance? Whatever. If it has a witch or a vampire or a werewolf in it, more than likely I've read it. And I love it. I'm not ashamed.

    However I've never given dragons much thought. To me they were part of the whole fantasy genre along with elves and orcs. And with the exception of Tolkien, I've never been into that genre much.

    But I was wrong. I was happily wrong! Sheri-Lynn manages to take this huge fantasy behemoth and seamlessly paste it into a current setting. Weaving a whole new mythology along with it.     The story progresses along nicely at a steady pace. It doesn't feel hurried but you get the appropriate adrenaline rushes athe the sense of urgency and danger experienced by characters.

    High quality writing. Interesting story. New mythos along with some old faves and great plot. An excellently completely arc which leaves the door open for a second book thanks to other important players. Hopefully a whole new series worth.

    This book was a surprise for me to get as I was not aware of its story. The action was non stop and the characters were incredible. The back story is quite complex and fascinating to get to know. The sex scenes, especially during the mating, were incredible. This book got me through a bunch of emotions. From dread as I saw characters face death or torture, to pure bliss as I saw them get back together. The torture Jax and Tierney went through was palpable and when all finally clicked into place at the end of the book, I admit feeling ecstatic for the both of them. I now only hope that Sami will get his happily forever after as well. As for Sororyan and the other shifters, I simply hope they will find happiness as well.

    This group of immortals is driven to protect the humans and save anyone taken by the Ilyium. Father figure Zander and his daughter Tierney and joined by brothers Jax and Sami on this mission. They have a number of special gifts that come in handy. Jax loves Tierney but never felt worthy of her love hence the angst slow burn. She has always loved Max and risks much for him.
