    This addition has been a true delight!

    To have another adventure-filled world builder in a series I already love has been amazing! Eileen knows her characters so well, and writes them in a way it's hard not to love them all, even the baddies. I truly have enjoyed the continued Giddi/Mazyka story, but to have Tonio's story has brought so much more depth. My mind constantly jumping to the Riders of Fire series with Ezzara. With more of Anakisha and Yanir's story told, I highly anticipate when their confrontation with Zens will be written. My mind is full of pictures, with bits and piece from all of the books, making Dragon's Realm come more to life with each page turn.

    A world gate was opened and then not closed properly. An earth man named Zen came through with his monsters called Tharuks. He was going to mine a mineral that would make weapons that would allow him to devastate earth. He kidnapped a town and turned them into slaves. The Dragon Riders vowed to destroy him and his monsters. There is tragedy and joy in the book. I highly recommend reading it and the others in the series…

    I have to be honest. It took me awhile to get into the swing of this book. Mainly because it has been awhile since reading the rest of the series and I had trouble placing some of the characters. But by half way through I was full into the swing of it.
    If you are looking for sunshine and rainbows, most of the time, this book isn’t. Slaughter, kidnapping, slavery, deception, of civilians, dragon riders, dragons and mages, as Commander Zens and the Tharuks invade Dragon’s Realm. The introduction of numlock and limplock, and actual face to face contact between Zens and Dragon Realm royalty and dragons.
    This book is about Tonio and his rise to Spy Master, but has a lot of Master Mage Giddi and his wife Mazyka, and their unfortunate opening of a world gate, and the catastrophe it caused.
    I did enjoy the reintroduction of Zahara, near the end. So sweet.

    This is Tonio's story during his early years training and elevation with Spymaster Taren at Dragons Hold. His close relationship with Taren and greatest of all his relationship with the fabulous ruby dragon Antonika! The author has shown her skill at weaving another epic tale set in Dragon's Realm! With a good mix of drama, action, intense situations, battles,monsters (including a despicable villain), and even a bit of humor thrown in. I was totally captivated! The charismatic characters and dragons stole my heart as they will you. And never fear, many beloved characters from prior books play important parts in this book too! I cheered, laughed and cried during this riveting, smart and endearing story. This is a powerful, intriguing, exciting fast paced edge of your seat ride! So, go ahead, enter a world of dragons, riders, magic and adventure with plenty of action! "You will not be sorry"!!!

    Commander Zens from Earth is a big man physically. Very big.
    And harbouring his secrets away from anybody that may approach him, but especially Dragon Realm's dragon riders. That way his powers can overwhelm them in an instant should he so wish.
    Another plus for him is his looks. A misformed face and protruding eyes that make looking into his eyes tough.
    Commander Zens is plainly put the boogeyman...in appearance and very much so in his works.
    Spymaster Taran slipped up with this in his first meeting while watching the world gate, something he will get to regret.
    Tonio and the dragon Antonika also did right in the beginning. Except, Tharuks and their relationship with commander Zens did make Tonio feel concerned somehow. Just as well because the war with the Tharuks (and Commander Zens) seems inevitable.
    Dragon Spy is a riveting epic fantasy and the fight for control of life in the dragon realm a very real issue, even if only in the early stages of a deadly battle to follow.
