- Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2016Dragon Tales is full of fun, imaginative stories for young dragon fans. Some of the stories were rather predictable but were still enjoyable and related to real problems kids have. The book has a mix of "serious" and humorous stories. One story made reference to eating people, which might offend someone, but it was done tastefully and was definitely funny. I am not young, but I thoroughly enjoyed the stories. I think the young students I work with in the schools would love them.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2016Cleverly written, engaging, funny and heartwarming stories. I kept wanting more. It's a book that any kid who loves dragons will love, and it will engage the imaginations of many others. I was really touched by the stories, and how they dealt with mundane issues that every kid has to face, as well as harder topics which were approached sensitively and compassion.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2016Charming. A chain of related stories, each leading into the next in bite (chomp?) sized reads perfect for reading with dragonets - or by dragonets to their elders.
The sort of stories enjoyed by an often-picky age-range and those who share books with them. Imaginations are sure to be fired, and humour helps make sure that although dealing with serious matters (homework! curling scales!) it is done in a cheerful and light-hearted way that makes understanding enjoyable (and poignant) rather than a heavy-handed morality tale.
I'd suggest this has a place in the collection of anyone who likes, dragons, reading, or has anything to do with children from parents to vet waiting rooms (and a good read in the car as well).
- Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2016Feel-good dragon stories for middle grade lovers of fantasy, this collection uses fairy tale to address the everyday concerns of kids; some not-so-serious like getting your math homework done and cleaning up the bathroom after you've used it, as well as more meaty issues like bullying, developing a feeling of self-worth and facing tragedy. With bite-sized reads that are perfect for bedtime, as well as longer stories for the bus trip home after school, this is a must-read for young dragon lovers.
