I have a twelve year old daughter with Cystic Fibrosis and this book is such a great way to explain the condition. Explain to mom and dad too! Thanks for the great work you are doing! Luckily my daughter has done well thus far.

Although this novel is supposed to be for 9 to 12-year-olds, it's informative for all ages. The illustrations are wonderful, and the way the author explains DNA, genetics, and cystic fibrosis is refreshingly original.

This book does a great job of explaining DNA and the inner workings of cells on a level that children can gain an appreciation for them. It uses characters and humor to bring out the concepts, and builds up to explaining what cystic fibrosis is and what causes it. A great resource for home or classroom use!

I love books that teach children, and this one does just that. The author has other books in this series, and your children will learn great information. This one teaches about DNA: Cystic Fibrosis, and the illustrations are awesome.

This was an interesting book. It explained the cause of Cystic Fibrosis, how it affects the body, why the genes might have mutated and what is being done about it. It explains a lot of commonly used vocabulary and illustrates it in a fun way.

Really educational in explaining how genetics play a role.

Making a complicated illness understandable for young children is a difficult challenge. I'm amazed at how well the author did! The illustrations help tremendously and they are very well done. I honestly learned a lot from this book.
