Ensnared by Dreams and Terrors: Polyam Fated Mates Monster Romance (Sacrificed to Monster Gods) Kindle Edition
As a professional party princess, my business is making dreams come true. Even if that means ignoring my own—something I’m used to after a lifetime as my mother's caregiver. When I walk into the newly-opened Monster Stash for a last-minute costume, I'm caught in a web of visions that feel all too real. Though I’m terrified to give in, I learn that at the root of these fantasies are the gods of Dreams and Nightmares. They say it's fate--I'm convinced they're just my imagination.
But untangling myself from the threads of pure pleasure the Dreamweaver spins has me second-guessing everything, especially as the dominant and violent nightmare, Torment, unleashes my dark side. These two balanced forces have been at each other's throats for millennia, but now I'm trapped in the middle of their power play--and enjoying it more than I want to admit.
I don’t know if I want them to fight over me… or share. But what I do know: if I don't submit to this triad of transcendence, I lose out on a lifetime of walking wet dreams.
Ensnared by Dreams is the third novella of Sacrificed to Monster Gods, a series of 13 interconnected mostly-standalone erotic monster romances where the gods find their HEA with their True Offering. It features explicit sexual queer polyamorous scenes, two monstrous mates (one a centaur with a terrifying appendage, the other: half-spider, half-human), BDSM, primal play, as well as dark, morbid imagery, and portrayals of schizophrenia.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2022This was another great enjoyed from the Sacrificed to Monster Gods series. I had enjoyed the previous three entries and this does a great job in continuing this series. I enjoyed the way Latrexa Nova wrote this and look forward to more.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2023While I appreciate that the author is trying to bring some diversity and draws attention to those outside heteronormativity, in this case, the character development begins to suffer. I'm not sure if the two are related, but, either way, the connection between the three MCs was not fully developed. They went from abusing each other to being in love with little to no explanation in between. I'm the other stories, there was at least some dialogue to show how affection developed. This one? Not so much. I'll skip the next one.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2022This was an interesting story full of weird ideas and shapes that I'm not sure I can wrap my head around. I'm probably not doing justice to Fil and Tor and how they appear in the dream world and in the waking world. However, I fell for their love story, that while being messed up with the prey/predator roles, it somehow worked for them and that over several millennia they have this unbreakable bond that only becomes stronger when they meet Wren. She's their perfect balance while they are everything she needs. I also loved the relationship between Wren's parents. That's true love to support someone even during their worst time and never lose faith in them nor give up on them.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2023I enjoyed the previous books in this series and was looking forward to this one. I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I picked this book up, but this wasn't it. And yet I really enjoyed it. I was fascinated by the setting and the characters and the dynamic between them. This is definitely a unique read that I couldn't put down. 4 stars.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2023—>>> This was a wild & thrilling read for me. There were waves of push and pull between the two initial characters, FIlam and Torment, but Wren is the one they both want and need, the only one who can sooth as well as smooth out all their barbed edges and make the impossible happen. I will have to go back and read the other stories in this series now, I love what I’ve read of this series thus far!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2023A lot of stories that jump on the monster lover trend these days just take a regular handsome fella and add some sharp teeth or something vague and call it a monster romance. Latrexa Nova does not take the easy way out. The author is always good about making sure us monster lovers have real monsters to love and that they’re always still more romantic than humans could ever be, despite their monstrous appearances. This story is especially good about that.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2022I really love this series! This was an interesting take on dream/nightmare gods. I loved the fmc. Short read.
