    This was definitely a dark mafia romance..... The beginning when Livia and Maxim were forced to get married, they hated each other, but it seems like Livia was more afraid of someone else.... I feel like it was a missed on the author's side to not bring Livia darkside out more, and I mean let her show that side of her to not only Maxim but others so they would know she can handle her self..... The book was overall good....

    This was way different then others I've read in this genre. I expected the violence and the rough, raunchy intimacy, but I was caught off guard on the girl's roll in the violence part. She was pretty bad so I was disappointed that she didn't play a bigger part in it. This was definitely a 3.5 out of 5 rating just because I felt something was missing ( although full of spicyiness).

    Wow, is all I can say about dark and evil arranged marriage of two young people who are so similar. Both came from abusive homes were their fathers showed them cruelty and formed them into a world of evil violence. Maxim didn’t want to deal with a bride he had no knowledge of and he hated her before he met her. Livia violence that she carried stem from her hatred of her father and he forcing her to marry because of his greed and revenge. Livia proved she wasn’t a woman to be broken and she set out to do just that until Maxim discovered her use of fentanyl. He put her in rehab but it was almost his undoing because it showed him her evil side but it brought them closer together. Great story and I am looking forward to reading the next about Maxim father. It should be another doozy. Great reading everyone!
