Can't remember the first time
This book is filled with some of my favorite tropes. We have a single dad, a somewhat second chance, and a brothers best friend. Nate is a hard working dad who really wants to provide the best home for his girls including an extended family. Just so happens his best friend's family has always been that way to him and his girls. When he moves to there hometown to set things up to find them a home, their temporary home is a bed and breakfast Alex is running for one of their sisters. But Nate doesn't remember meeting Alex before, she on the other hand hasn't been able to stop thinking about him. Things are about to get complicated in this small town. I have voluntarily left this review.

    The storyline is your typical brother’s best friend trope mixed with a single father. I loved that Alex established a relationship with Molly and Eloise early. The issue I had was the author constantly described dialogue that she could have just included. It really drove me crazy. I often found myself thinking “she could have just written that conversation out for us to read the interaction”. For me; the book needs to be edited in a better format with added dialogue between characters.

    It had all of my favourite tropes, brothers' best friend, billionaire, single dad, and one night stand all set in a small town!!

    Nate and Alex were so good together. I absolutely loved every second of this book. Alex is such a good character she was a breath of fresh air for Nate and just what he needed.

    Im always up for a dirty talking MMC, and Nate fits the bill perfectly. He turns into a protective, possessive, full-blown alpha male when he is alone with Alex 🥵🔥

    The family dynamics were so good, and i am so excited to read about the rest of the family.

    This was such a sweet heart hit for me! I loved the somewhat nerdy billionaire who was hot as heck who meets the sweet but a little naughty baker!

    The tension between these two was steamy off the pages!

    I enjoyed watching Nate and Alex getting reacquainted with each other but most of all I enjoyed the twins! Such sweet and adorable little girls and entertaining too.

    I got very teary a few times which is always the sign of a good writer! I can't wait for the next in the series!
