    A cold case and a twisted mystery. I enjoyed the book. I liked Sam and the other characters were relatable and interesting. It's a good start to the series.

    A friend asks Sam Hyatt to look into a cold case. Sam gets some resistance. Sam exposes that a serial killer is responsible. An exciting novel.

    This book is an excellent read! I really enjoyed it. I love the style, character building, and that it's fast-paced. I couldn't put it down, and I read it in just about an hour and a half or so. I think I've found a new author to buy everything they've ever written!! This isn't a super lomg book, but it really is very well developed and well written. This is a great murder mystery, with several twists and turns that will leave you surprised as the puzzle pieces start to fall into place. Not completely unpredictable, but definitely not predictable, either. Lovely mix! Nice, easy read. Highly recommended!!

    Sam Hyatt a restored detective is hired to look into the unsolved murder of the wife and daughter of a friend from school. At first the evidence is lacking and there are no plausible suspects. The chief of police does not want the case solved. Against impossible odds Sam makes unexpected connections and a killer no one suspected is uncovered. A clever who done it that cannot be missed.

    I loved that this story was not a typical 'cop n robber' story from anywhere. This was a story of murders, yes, but the lesson is that sometimes that little tickle of a feeling, has a reason. The ending was priceless!
