    I didn't know what to expect going into this book as I didn't read the blurb. I wanted to be surprised. What I found was something very sweet and steamy.

    We have Clay who's desperate for a job with his college tuition coming up and no money. He gets a job at a 'movie' studio as a fluffer, having noises what it is, offering a moment of humor. And we have Yuri, an 'actor.' Their attraction is instant and unexpected for both of them. Instead of questioning it, they accept what fate dropped into their laps and rolled with it.

    If you need a palette cleanser, enjoy biawakening, low angst, and a sweet and fiery romance, this is for you.

    I always enjoy learning something new from the MM books I read and this book was no exception — had no idea what a “fluffer” was or any idea where the name came from — but it was fun reading about Clay’s experiences with Yuri. I particularly liked Clay’s original “guess” as to what the job entailed, but he stepped right up and aced the interview. Lots of steamy scenes along with the developing relationship between Clay and his Stallion. I’ve never been at a porn shoot, but seemed pretty realistic as to most of the goings on at the studio. Did wonder how often a fluffer was needed in real life, but guess there would be a need if there was such a position.
    Light-hearted, low angst, humorous, unusual tale that kept my interest, and taught me a new word. Win-win all around.

    Low-angst, spicy, insta-love, easy read story. It's OK if that is your thing, but I feel like things fell together for Yuri and Clay so fast and perfectly that it was too easy. Clay, who has never even thought about being with a guy, is ready to do anything for Yuri's equipment 5 minutes after meeting him? ehhh... There is virtually no drama, so very little plot other than the issues between Yuri and Trev that necessitate Clay's presence. If you like super low-angst, everything is always perfect stories, you will probably enjoy this a lot more than I did. It's not terrible by any means, it's a fun read, but I was hoping for a little more drama.

    This story is a cute zero angst spicy bi-awakening. I found it just a tad unrealistic that someone who has never not once found himself attracted to another man would jump so wholeheartedly from 0-60 without a hint of hesitation, but I did enjoy the lack of back and forth and navel gazing so many bi-awakening stories have. I like that Yuri’s job was taken seriously and that all the workers were respected and not looked down on. I’m not sure if this was published as a standalone but the opening for turning it into a series is definitely there and I would happily read about Clay’s roommate and Yuri’s colleagues on their journeys to find an HEA.

    I laughed so much reading this book it’s fun but also cute, no need to worry about jealous ex’s or dramatic misunderstandings. I love how understanding Yuri is with Clay not pressuring him or anything just letting Clay figure out what he wants and how he feels. These two are so cute together Yuri’s a big softy who loves to cuddle and they couldn’t be happier. I liked seeing Clay work towards building his dream and seeing it come true after all his hard work. I can’t describe how much I loved this book all the characters were great especially Clay’s brothers they made me laugh, even the guys at Carnal Desires were accepting of their relationship with the exception of one person who I never really liked. Definitely going on my read again list the relationship between these two is adorable and super spicy.

    I spent the first bit of this book giggling away at Clay’s naïveté. I do think this is sort of the point because I’m a middle aged white lady from Canada and I know what a “Fluffier” is! Stormi Reed does bring it up later in the story as well but luckily she doesn’t base her whole story off this joke. She gets down to some serious but sweet relationship moments between Clay and Yuri and I liked this book even more than I thought I was going to. I liked how Clay was ok with Yuri’s job and it wasn’t written with the conventional approach where Yuri has to quit before they can be together. This book seems to be a one off, but there is plenty of character and context for this to be turned into a series. Hint hint!

    The synopsis for this story caught my attention as something cute and quick to read. I kind of love idiots in love and that was the vibe I was expecting, but not at all what was delivered. This was pretty insta- with equal parts sweet and steamy without a real drop of tension or angst. To be honest I wanted a little something more since it was all too easy.

    I enjoyed all of the supporting characters, and the chemistry between Yuri and Clay. I thought it was funny that while Clay is in his final semester of school nary a mention of class, assignments, exams, etc. are mentioned until like three quarters of the way through the book when it's like the author remembered he was a student. The epilogue was a nice addition as it was lovely to see them successfully achieve their respective goals.

    Honestly, this isn't pretending to be more than it is and can be a little ham-handed at times, so suspend disbelief, take everything at face value, and enjoy it for what it is - an adult file star falling for his fluffer and his fluffer falling just as hard.
