    Wow, what a ride! This series has been great from start to finish, and this one it my favorite. Haydn comes across as so vulnerable early on. It was great to see him find his footing and gain his confidence. Jonas was a big part of it, but Haydn had to be in the right headspace to get there.
    Jonas is the perfect protector. He lets Haydn stand on his own but stands ready to jump in if he needs help. He’s so patient with him!
    It’s a great conclusion to a great series!

    This one was a little heart breaking but at the same time filled with love. Haydn is a burn victim who believes he will never find his person. Jonas is an owner of the bar and is mostly into hookups. Haydn gets a job at the bar and everything changes! Filled with sexy times and so much love.

    Jonas get’s his HEA. I have read all the previous books in the Bar 28 series; I was happy that Jonas got his HEA. The execution of the HEA wasn’t my favourites. After four books in the series wasn’t surprised at the insta-want-love. It’s just that premise did not work for me in this book. The plot was felt forces and a bit flat. Jonas equally tender/loving/amazing bed and kind of over possessive in a strange way. Hadyn was confusing to me. Growing up was difficult for him. His sunny disposition was sweet but a tad forced. The heat is high and frequent which I love. If you are looking for more angst and less heat, I would pass. Overall, this is an escapist read. This book will probably not stay with me, it was fine for what I wanted.

    Haydn, Haydn, Haydn what can I say other than you were made for Jonas in every way. When J J started this series I was unsure if Jonas would get his turn at his forever person but how could we leave the Bar without it!!!
    So here we are- Haydn and Jonas- this story had all the elements of a great book, sadness, worry, happiness, sweet moments,tears and sexy time!
    It was a rollercoaster of a ride and it wasn’t all hearts and flowers but of course it never is, however they each were strong in their own individual way but even stronger together. It was also lovely catching up with all the other guys that we have come to know and love.
    This series is special in every way, it’s known as a feel good and heartwarming series and this book is a worthy edition to it and a perfect ending.
    J J has a way with her words, each series, each book just gets better and better and her prose has developed in leaps and bounds in the last few years, undoubtedly making her one of the best MM authors around today.
    The writing was captivating, the characters were believable and I cared about them both and was rooting for them to achieve their own HEA.
    No further hints to this storyline but just know it’s a wonderful way to spend a relaxing weekend- a glass of wine 🍷 , chocolate 🍫 , a tissue, a big comfy chair 🪑 and Haydn of course….then kick back and enjoy
    This series and book would suit anyone that loves a great MM romance that’s brimming with love and joy!

What an absolutely brilliant series Bar 28 is so sad to see it end all of these guys are truly amazing so glad Jonas had is story and him and Haydn are perfect together the chemistry between them it sizzles its so hot the moment they lay eyes on each other they know there the one. Haydn as been through so much heartbreak and pain all he wants is someone to love him for who he is and in Jonas he's found that he's possessive and protective of him and so loving so sweet and beautiful he's found the perfect family in all the guys at the bar what a way to end the series brilliant. ❤

    Pros - it’s telling a wonderful story of someone overcoming trauma with physical and mental scars. The supporting characters have their own complex stories I’m sure make for enjoyable reading. The two lovers act like people & communicate to each other.

    The cons - the third act/ending is all very rushed and some plot twists are just kind of forgotten about. It’s annoying when you’re reading a story and you have to ask why the character just forgot about the certain developments or didn’t press harder for an answer. In the end, found myself skipping the spicy scenes in the hopes of finding out more about Haydn’s past life but nothing was gleamed.

    Wow a lot happend in this story due to the life Haydn has had. I am not totally into the 'Sir/boy' stories, but this was written well and is not over the top. It involves the previous bar characters and it's nice to hear how they are getting on. The epilogues are wonderful and emotional and give the story peace and a proper ending.
