Full content visible, double tap to read brief content.

Cássio was born in Portugal in 1990. His biggest challenge as a writer? Resisting the urge to include a character inspired by his cat, Oli, in every book.

Although he studied robotics, his passion for languages led him to a career in teaching and interpreting. This blend of science, linguistics, and a deep love for his cat has shaped him into a sci-fi and LitRPG author specializing in clean, wholesome fiction.

In his free time, Cássio enjoys peaceful walks with his wonderful wife and playful moments with Oli—the two muses behind his stories.

He shares his work on Royal Road and Patreon, gradually moving finished books to Amazon.

    Wow, just wow.

I don't know how Cassio manages to create main characters that work so well, but he created a winner in Jack. he's a young man who managed to achieve the age of adulthood without truly growing up. And now he has discovered a challenge that he finds stimulating and he's growing up.

This is a fascinating tale. Jack is learning a lot about the game he's playing in, but also about himself. And that growth is what makes this a truly fun to read tale. Its more than just another LitRPG tale.

This is one that I found well worth the time to read.

I have enjoyed this series a lot more than I expected. So much so that I stopped in the middle of another book when I got the notice this one was released! Jack continues to grow as a person and progresses his skills in interesting ways. With the restrictions he has with his handyman class, there are constant challenges to overcome, but his creativity is pulling him through. Now I'm waiting on the next book!

(Note: There are a small but noticeable number of wrong or missing words. If there was an author link I'd send you the list. If not, A quick skim by an editor could clean them up pretty easily.)

Good story with fun characters a little mushy for my reading taste but is a fast read. Lots of life choices buried within the story.

Jack starts as an arrogant idiot in book 1 but changes his attitude bit by bit as he struggles to make a go of earning a real ( fictitious) life wage online gameing.

I do have to say I like the feel but slow at points. Other then that I feel like it a good book and the drama is their and some action I really enjoy the crafting to this system

Love the story, and can't complain about writing style.

Biggest issue for me is that there is too much detail, especially when crafting. Just felt like I skipped a third of the book because of this reason.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this storyline

I'm totally hooked and can't wait for the next book!
Only thing i don't get is the forced PvP, losing XP & dropping loot would be a huge turn off.
If guilds killed players till they ended up at a low level, they'd leave the game in droves.
Did anyone else notice that Jack's Luck should be +10?
He started with +5 Luck, then he got a title called unique( I think it was called ) when he got his handyman class, which gave him another +5 Luck
