    You would think that after being in a relationship for years, things get settled. You are with the love of your life, and life can't be better, except...it can.

    Mason & Leo had their fair share of problems to get to the point they are now, but they were happy. They had each other, and that was what mattered the most.

    Quinn was living his best life, partying, hooking up, school, and friends. What can he want more when he was a commitmentphobe through and through?

    Mason, Leo, and Quinn were friends, the best of them, but somehow nothing happened until one day everything changed. I don't think it took them so long because nothing was there, quite the opposite, but I think it didn't because it wasn't the right time.

    I think the tension between them grew, and grew, and grew until they couldn't ignore it any longer. I also think Mason & Leo were just waiting for Quinn to be ready for them. They stood by his side while he lived his best life, enjoying his youth. They cheered for him, held him together, and when the time was right, they took the chance.

    I loved how soft their love is. How patient. I loved how M&L gave Quinn all the time and space in the world to become the best version of himself before taking the huge step of committing, not only with one, but with two people. They got his back, and Q had theirs. It progressed naturally, and it was very careful with Q's heart, which was fragile... and that made me love them even more.

    Looking at these 3 together, I think it was only natural for them to gravitate towards each other. Love is too powerful to let things get in the way.

    Ahhh, I love them. I just wish the book was a bit longer, ngl...

    4.75✨️ - I really, really recommend this book if an MMM, best friends to lovers ( established couple ) is what you are looking for.

    This is a college/new graduate romance with apartment mates/friends to lovers between an established couple (Mason & Leo) and Quinn, their apartment mate and Mason's best friend. It's set in college, with Mason and Quinn in their final year and Leo just graduated, but the setting is more of a reason for the three MCs to be sharing an apartment. It might work as a standalone, though that means little backstory on Mason and Leo's relationship or Mason and Quinn's friendship or their other roommates.

    I enjoyed the romance - I always like friends to lovers because of the communication needed as they realize the relationship is changing. I appreciated that the epilogue is set a year later in order to see them living their HEA, which I know is a personal preference.

    It's low on angst, and the bleak moments are fairly short-lived. I recommend it to fans of triads.

    This is the second book I have read by Hayden Hall, and I enjoyed it perhaps even more the the Nerd/Jock Conundrum. The characters are well-developed, and somehow the friendships seem more true or real here. This story was not overwhelmed by angst like so many in this genre. There were sufficient struggles and fears depicted here for sure, but they fit in with the arc of the storyline, and I liked how the characters worked things out with one another and in their own mind. The story is sexy and full of love and romance without being either too shy/timid or too focused on the “activities”! I would recommend this book to folks who enjoy romance and are comfortable with reading about people who are actively exploring their sexuality. I look forward to reading the rest of Hayden Hall’s works and for sure joined the mailing list!

    While I enjoyed reading this book, I must say that I felt like the storyline diminished the original couple’s relationship. More concerning to me was the fact that I found myself having to stop reading and back track a bit to figure out what words or spellings should be in that location. I found it very distracting. Normally, editing does not factor into my enjoyment of a book, but the sheer number of editing fails in this book deteriorated my overall enjoyment.

    Welp, when I discovered Hall, I thought these would be fun to read. Boy, was I not ready. I enjoy his style and storytelling. And of the 5 books of his I've read, I started with the Titans in Detroit, this is my favorite.

    It's been a long time since an author has taken me on an emotional roller-coaster like that. And chapter 37! I laughed so hard and loud that I think my neighbors hate me now. But I also cried at the sweetness of Mason.

    Even if gay romance isn't your thing, he is still an amazing romance writer that I suggest taking a chance on him.

While each is navigating through their own personal problems, the support they show each other proves to be just what each one needed. Leo, Mason, and Quinn are playful, sweet, and so hot together. It was nice seeing characters return from the first book in the series.

    This was a fun and sometimes emotional read. I have read the prequel novella that showed us Mason and Leo meeting and starting their relationship, and I would recommend you read that first before reading this one. While I loved Mason and Leo together, and could see their love and devotion for each other, it was almost a natural progression to add Quinn to their relationship. I loved how well it all just came together, with all 3 of them just worked so well as a triple/throuple - there was no jealousy or forced angst. Yes, they had their personal issues and insecurities to work through, but they did just that - it might have been delayed at times but they were open and communicated with each other. I loved how the book wrapped up, and the epilogue we got for them. It was a sweet ending. I'm not sure if there is any more to come in this series, but if not, it's ended in very comfortable place.

    I had fallen in love with these 3 in both the prequel novella that introduced you for the first time to Leo and Mason, and the 1st in this series where Quinn was a side character you immediately wanted to find his HEA. This book did not disappoint and was absolutely worth the wait ❤️ This story has a little of the perfect recipe for a book- humour, drama, naughty times - as well as a whole lotta love and support for this throuple - all from the first MMM novel I have ever enjoyed. Hayden Hall really does go from strength to strength and creates worlds and characters that make you feel and fall in love with. If you have never read a Hayden Hall novel - what are you waiting for?!?
