    I'm always nervous going into a second book after reading and devouring the first. Only because there are always such high hopes for a continuation of a story that you are captivated by. But Eve did not disappoint, and I love this series now more than I did after the first book.

    The second of this series is going to focus a lot more on individual relationships for these characters within themselves. It will pick up right where the first ended into the 'whys' of this story and the reasons behind Isla being taken.

    Being able to adequately put the right amount of emotions into character development without being too cliche or overbearing, is so important and this is done beautifully in this second part. You will finally feel like everything is falling into place and all the dots are being connected and even knows you didn't know needed to be.

    This duet is going to take you to the inner self reflections of Isla and Zayn as they need to work through the past, their current and become who they need to be in order to make their love work. Rye and Julian are also critical in these steps because of how these friendships have shaped them as well, even if there were painful at times.

    This is a superb duet series for anyone needed a great romance story and Eve has delivered them both so well. I can't wait to read more of her work.

    I really loved Zayn. Isla, not so much. She annoyed me to no end. She had all the information at the tip of her fingers about who Zayn was, his world, how to live in it but she fought it tooth and nail at pretty much every turn. He deserved better but the heart wants what the heart wants.

    His Fury picks up right where Her Ruin ended, with Isla being kidnapped. Zayn’s fury was palpable when he found out Isla was kidnapped. She is the only one who makes him loose control. He gets her back, but not without consequences. Now everyone knows he has a weakness. Zayn works hard to show what would happen if they threaten Isla. It was heartbreaking when Isla realized why she was taken and who was responsible. Isla’s relationship with her best friend ,Julian, is fractured because of his actions. Zayn and Isla’s relationship was tested but grew stronger when they were honest with each other. It made sense for Isla to question things because she didn’t understand his world, but her indecisiveness became repetitive. Zayn and Isla couldn’t keep thier hands off each other and they were burning up my kindle with their chemistry. I really enjoyed seeing Zayn opening up to Isla and how protective he was of her while still letting her be herself. Zayn appears complicated at first glance, but thats just what he wants you to think. He is morally grey and over protective of Isla but is willing to do whatever it takes to be with her. Isla is a strong independent and stands up for herself because she doesn’t lose herself to the relationship. His Fury is an engaging romance that you won’t want to put it down.

    Phew I’m not sure what I was expecting for the follow up but man this was good!

    Following the last book, Isla has been taken by some men & is becoming increasingly more fearful & agitated. When listening to them talk to her about why she’s there, she soon realizes that her best friend, a man she thought she trusted, was the reason she was taken.

    Zayn quickly finds out & immediately is on the hunt for her. When he learns that it was Julian’s fault, he is dead set on hunting him down too.

    What then follows is the rescue of Isla, the adjustment to her now staying with Zayn, him claiming her to his world, & then trying to outmaneuver those who are trying to cause him harm.

    Throughout all of this, Isla starts to question & learn more about who she is & what she’s willing to do for Zayn. She quickly finds herself admitting she’s in love with him & willing to do what’s needed to protect him like he protects her.

    Their relationship progresses when faced with more trials & tests but they overall come to terms with being in love & still not knowing how to navigate it.

    This was definitely worth the read & I would definitely recommend it!
