I'm Obsessed!!!
What is it about this IVI world that's just completely enraptured me? It's archaic, brutal, and completely addictive. And this book? I loved it even more than the first book. It's interesting considering how much I hated the seemingly spoiled and vapid Mercedes in the The Society Trilogy how much I love her in this one. This is a woman with many layers, and the more that are peeled back, the more captivated you are by her. This is also a woman who's been through hell and back, and lost none of her strength for it. This second installment begins right where book one ended, and the long road to recovery that Mercedes has after her coming face to face with Judge's past. Judge, who is seemingly calculated and reserved, has his composure crumple. Where in book one he was determined to stay away from Mercedes and drive a wedge between them, in this one he can't stay away from her. But he knows it' can only be temporary and eventually Mercedes will have to marry the appropriate society husband. But he doesn't understand yet why the mere thought of it sends him spiraling. There's so many twists and turns which kept me at the edge of my seat. Some predictable, and some I never saw coming. And that ending? I can't even. I need answers and the conclusion like YESTERDAY!

    Mercedes loved her Judge so much. But he always said he couldn't love. He did have feelings and wish things we different but no. Mercedes had go pay for the crime she did but Judge could not see she being punished. Sed Mercedes was in the dark to so any things. She needs to open her eyes tho we their world.

    This book starts right where the first one ends. Judge brother deserved what he got after what he did to Mercedes. Judge kept telling himself that he will never marry, but he couldn’t keep his hands to himself where Mercedes is concerned. He was jealous of any man showing interest in Mercedes. Judge needed to man up, he wanted to have his cake and eat it to. Mercedes did grow in the book, she made up her mind to and started looking out for herself and looking for a future without Judge, due to all the whiplash he was giving her, I can’t say I blame her. I was not surprised by her decision, Mercedes is a strong woman and she doesn’t agree with the ancient rules and regulations of the male dominated society she belongs to. Mercedes wants a chance at happiness, her childhood was not great and filled with abuse, she made up her mind to depend on herself and maybe her friends since she believed the men she loves let her down. I see Mercedes as a much stronger heroine of all the others in this IVI society since it all started.

If you haven't read The Society Trilogy, you should read that trilogy before diving into this trilogy. I promise you would be at the edge of your seat, and won't be able to put it down!!!⁣

    This picked up right where His Rule ended. And my heart was boiling mad. Judge was definitely a mean, alpha hero that I love, but at times, I want to strangle him so bad. Lol I want to go into the book and just give Mercedes a hug. She deserves the best.

    If you've read the Society Trilogy and didn't want to read this one because you didn't like Mercedes, give her a chance. I promise you you'll end up loving her.

    I'm not going to say much because I don't want to spoil the book.

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Natasha Knight and A. Zavarelli always nail it.

    Judge and Mercedes’ story picks up right where it left off in His Rule. It’s heartbreaking what she had to endure. Mercedes is one determined woman, but Judge can handle her. Not everyone would be able to. That’s why she’s with him, though, so he can put her in her place, to be a Society wife. Yes, she rebels because it’s mostly is in her nature. It’s always so intense between them for so many reasons. So many truths are revealed, but not all, and no conclusion is met with each other. Of course, another cliffhanger at the end leaves me on edge to find out what happens next. If you’re into dark series and books, this is one series you’ll love!

    Mercedes and Judge's story continues right where book one left off. Mercedes decides to escape and his caught by Judge's brother, Theron. Theron plans to take his revenge on his brother by hurting Mercedes. It's one problem after another for her and it's only beginning.

    After she is rescued by Judge she struggles again. The beating she took brought up old memories, but she tries to move forward. Judge tries to help her anyway he can and of course things get steamy all over again for them. However, this time is different for many reasons.

    Both still have secrets, which will only cause more problems. I am looking forward to the conclusion in book three. The author's did another wonderful job with this book. I couldn't put it down and there is still much to find out.

    If you think His Rule ( Book 1) had you captivated, Her Rebellion ( Book 2) was whole new ball game.

    From the start, I had my kindle in death grip needing to know what happened with Mercedes. Would Judge get there on time?

    I don’t think I’ve read a book that fast in a long while. Just couldn’t believe my eyes as everything unfolds. Can’t wait for Their Reign (Book 3).
