    Really accessible and easy to read. Builds from the basics of how to look after yourself and then moves on to how to determine what might be affecting you and causing issues. Great examples. Moves on to high end performance too.

    Apart from having the pleasure of: Nell Mead @NellMead#HowToBeYourOwnPhysio as a physiotherapist, when I was in the Royal Airforce. I now have the pleasure to visualise and hear her advice through her book. I am currently on the first section and foundation level of the pyramid, because this is the area , I need to work on most. The book layout is simple and very consuming. There is something in there for everyone . The book can be used as a starting point to just understand how we can live a healthy lifestyle using the foundation blocks .

    I can't speak highly enough of Nell's physio or this book. She takes a really complicated subject and breaks it down into something really easy to understand and act on, all laced with Nell's humour and easy charm. As a sportsperson who's read a lot of these things, I know I will keep returning to this book. This is a must-read to help you understand your body better and I'm certain everyone will find at least a few genuinely life changing bits to take away from it.

    I found this book so interesting, there was a lot of information that was new to me, presented in a way that was easy and fun to read! There are lots of principles for keeping a healthy, active body that I will try and incorporate into my lifestyle. I think I will be dipping back into this book often.

    As a fellow physiotherapist practising for 28 years, I can fully recommend Nell’s book. I served with Nell in the army and she was an impressive colleague. Nell’s book puts some simplified structures into place that help you understand the layers required to prevent and manage your mind and body from a physiotherapist’s perspective. I recommend you buy it now and learn from it!
