About the authors
Oleg Sapphire was born in April 1993 in the city best known as “Little Paris”. He’s always been a good-natured banterer constantly in the thick of his fun-loving friends. This didn’t prevent him from getting two degrees though, in law as well as in IT. He used his expertise in both areas to pen his LitRPG series. His hobbies are archery and reading, but the one pastime that really moves his soul is coin collecting, hunting for rare specimens with quite a bit of history behind them. Ever since childhood, he’s been an artist at heart. His other passion is painting, and he’s made his way through an inordinate amount of books.
Oleg has been surrounded by pets from an early age, so animals take a large place in both his heart and in his books, much to his readers’ joy. Writing is his life and his livelihood; he relates to every moment of his characters’ journeys, sympathizing with them in both his heart and his mind.
Yuri Vinokuroff was born in 1976 in Sevastopol. An avid reader from an early age, he was especially fond of fantasy and science fiction. Already back then, he knew he wanted to write books rather than just read them.
But as it often happens, all of his time and energy were consumed by his successful career, his family and his French Bulldog breeding kennel. His professional activities involved designing and constructing power plants and facilities, which couldn’t be further removed from his teenage dream of writing fiction.
Still, Yuri didn’t give up. Eventually, he began writing for Facebook and even created a small challenge for himself, completing 100 posts in 100 days. It was there that he gained his first fans. During the 2020 lockdown, he used the opportunity to enter a major LitRPG competition. Although his novel didn’t win, it still went viral, soon followed by the rest of the series.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseReally interesting. Innovative world building. Alexander is growing on me. Anna is an enigma. Action! Adventure!
In this book Alexander finally crosses paths with King. I thought it was going to be a slaughter but it turns out to be a game of chess! Almost. I’m glad I continued reading this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI'm currently bringing this series. Books one and two have blurred together, unfortunately, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this journey. I will say the pacing is double-edged. On one hand, the slow pace means plot development feels more natural fleshed out and not rushed. On the other hand, it feels like one story spread out over two books. Most Western books come with a self-contained story (problem, training, fight, resolution), which can be slotted into a larger universe and built into a large-scale narrative. Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Russian generes don't seem to write in the same formulaic fashion. The main drawback is that if the author doesn't get funding or something else happens, the story goes unfinished in the middle of said story rather than in between universal events. It's simple and easily overlooked. Essentially, cliffhangers are used but are replaced by the removal of the ongoing story's resolution. Instead of a hint of what could happen next or an introduction of a newly developing problem like a typical cliffhanger.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe protagonist is cocky, confident and capable! The storyline moves along really well and does not get morbid and dark. Read it in a few hours and wish they were delivered more quickly.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe strength of a series is always in the second book. The first can leave you wanting more but the second, to me, is where you decide if you are in it all the way.
Our leading man is still a bit too juvenile for my taste but there’s no doubt he’s creative and powerful enough with a fairly unique primary skill.
Can’t wait for more.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI liked the characters, the humor, the action and tempo of the storytelling! What I enjoyed the most was all the surprises and twists and turns to the plot. This author knows how to put a very enthralling story together that grips you and pulls you along!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI like how Alexander is growing, getting stronger and closer to get his barony (land) back. I’m anxiously waiting for the next book in the series and for him to get revenge on his enemies.

5.0 out of 5 stars enjoyable story
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a story translated from Russian. Overall I thought the translation was done well with only limited errors with the editing process. I like the story as the protagonist is a reincarnated soul who was powerful but is somewhat limited in his current guise.
I look forward to further iterations.
