From the first chapter to the last I could not get enough!! The way I giggled like a school girl and the big laughs.. this book was AMAZING.. I could not get enough of Rayna and Metice.. such a great read and the writing and storytelling was perfect!! This will end up being my favorite read for the month of June!

    My Paranormal/fantasy reads have been specific to shape shifters and vampires - and I rarely read those. So, I saw this book and was intrigued. It's been in my library forever because while intrigued, it's still not my thing. Anyway, I'm glad I gave it a chance. Very original. Not a retold story with different character names. It really grabs your interest. I can appreciate the imagination and creativity that went into this book.

    This is my first book from Jessica Cage. It was recommended by a friend and I have to say it was quite good. I asked my friend for a Black, spicy romantasy read and thus delivered on all fronts.

    I liked our curvy, witty, 30-something female lead. I liked the descriptions, too. I could see the scenes in my mind’s eye. It was funny and sad at times but also hopeful. Some parts were a little unhinged/ridiculous to me but I appreciate the originality lol

    At first I wasn’t sure about the ending but if Jessica’s an anime fan like me, it’s believable based on what I’ve seen.

    Some aspects of the spicy scenes weren’t my cup of tea but all in all, I enjoyed it and I’ll be reading more of them!

The world building in HELL made me want to question the author if she might know something we don't.👀 'Cause sis, it was a bit too detailed! As a GOD fearing woman. Even I was intrigued! 😅

    I adored her friendship with her bff Keri. And Keri was for sure that ride or die bestie. They would do anything for one another. (as it should be). I was sad when the story ended. But, I was pleased with their happy ending.❤️
