    After the first two books I couldn’t wait for Xavier and Imogen’s story. Once I started it I couldn’t stop. I love these two. I think a lot of teens go through a time in their lives where they just don’t know how to deal with things, it’s how they learn. They split thinking it was for the best only to realize they made a mistake and it took a bumpy road to get where they should be. 🖤🔥⚽️🔥🖤

    My favorite quotes from Imogen:

    • His smile was like the sun coming out, so bright and genuine that my heart skipped a beat. Relief drained the tension from my body, and I collapsed against his chest.

    • I’d been a fool to give this up. To give him up. He was the only one who consumed me this way.

    It's a short story of Xavier and Imogen. They broke up in the beginning because everyone thought they were too young to settle down so they decided to "try" to be friends. However, the friendship thing wasn't working out for the both of them because they still loved each other even though they keep ignoring their true feelings. At the end, Xavier got his girl back =)

    Ok I’m completely new to Becca Steele and her work, but thanks to a snipet of “In A Week,” in the Hot Summer School Night Anthology I’m hooked!!! I downloaded the book for free from her website (thank you!!!!) and devoured it. I loved the pain they both caused each other because they listened to others rather than their own hearts. Totally stupid. When you find your one, your other half, you know it. But it’s rare when you find the one at 15 lol!!! Their desire for each other is so palpable, I was tense right along with them. But Xavier and Imogen just wouldn’t make it easy, sheesh. But I loved every moment. But I hated that I just didn’t get any real clarification if he actually hooked up with other girls or not. That summer they broke up and he went to Ibiza with his friends; it’s never really said in this book. Did he? She never dates anyone else or at least it’s not stated, perhaps in the other two previous books we get some inside info from their friends perspectives??? Guess I’ll have to read to find out. But it just gets me in a huff when they don’t clearly say it. He said he never got over her and he tried with all those other girls. But I don’t know what that means lol!!! Sob!!! Anyway it’s still a really good quick and pretty satisfying second chance romance.

    In A Week by Becca Steele is a short second chance high school romance. The book is set in the Alstone High world and can be read as a standalone.

    I love Becca's books! She does a great job pulling me into the story and making me feel what the characters are feeling. I was so excited to finally get Xavier and Imogen's story.

    If you loved this story, I would highly recommend reading Trick Me Twice and Cross The Line since the stories are interconnected.

    I would recommend this book if you're looking for a short second chance romance.
