Paul Martin is a UK based Bible Teacher with over 21 years experience in youth ministry. He has worked with Baptist, Pentecostal and Anglican denominations. He studied at Moorlands College in Christchurch, where he earned a BA in Applied Theology. Paul has since studied at Belfast Bible College, achieving a Masters in "The Bible and Ministry in the Contemporary World."

Paul is a creative and is the illustrator of his devotional books. He loves spending time with his family, doing a bit of DIY, the occasional gaming and generally being arty in all his creations.

He began writing in 2007 and published his first 2 volume book in 2017 (books that were 10 years in the making!). "I gave this series the title 'Inspire,' because every study aims to be faithful to the Bible, whilst also connecting with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. My hope is that the Holy Spirit will do a powerful work through these devotions and Bible studies."

Paul started writing his devotional books for young people in 2018 and hopes to build up a series of 40 day devotionals to encourage and strengthen young people in their faith.

    I can’t believe more youth leaders don’t know about this book! This is probably the best investment I have made in 10 years of youth ministry. I haven’t found many other books or curriculum that are really great at starting conversations- they always seem to require a bit of tweaking, or presume more of a preaching or teaching style. This book does it very well! I currently have a group of very young kids who are struggling to feel comfortable speaking up- this book is great because it combines simple questions with leading questions, so it draws out those who are reluctant to speak while allowing the Hermiones(😉) plenty of room to respond. It requires very little preparation. And it’s very comprehensive as far as covering much of the Bible, when combined with volume 2. It allows for some freedom in personalizing the lessons, which is always nice. The best lessons are always the ones where I learn as much as the kids do because they are having insights and inspirations AND sharing them. That definitely happens with Inspire!

    So far our kids absolutely LOVE it and it is striking amazing conversation more than I have ever seen them get involved and actually discuss things including our "tough" kids. It makes prep for a very busy shedulde much nicer! We are continuing to be blessed by this. When we finish this book we will be looking for another by the same man.
