i$ubscribe: Gen Verismo Genesis Kindle Edition

4.7 out of 5 stars 234 ratings

This is a standalone work of fiction and can be read on its own. i$UBSCRIBE – Gen Verismo Genesis is the concluding take from the ALL KAAL NONE series chapter – Human Eradication.

***Summon up your philosophical side before perusing this book. There are strong metaphysical and abstract approaches to this narrative***

Fixing a glitch ends the possibility of an alien ever realizing his destiny. He resurrects her from her scattered memories. The only trouble is that she is a prime image of his dark but gifted side. One sustains mysticism, and another promotes prosperity. On the way to standardizing the earthly state, he ends the bodily dependency of the human species.

Extinction of our species is possible not by natural disasters or inventions but by a fabricated organic phenomenon. What if it becomes a certainty, and we can’t tell the difference between real and virtual? It may be that our indigenous intelligence is our savior that puts a stop to our thought-driven obsession with progress. Who’s to say that our knight in shining armor is not an alien race. In the end, it may just be a random stroke of luck that saves us.

Trip forward with SamVeer Eckhart into events of a parallel Earth. To find out if he succeeded in his infatuated undertaking. The risks are endless, even if the end is the same.

Exchange – As articulated heavily in my previous work, my metaphysical viewpoint conceptualized another way to communicate – waving. This model is used in the following story and is bolded and italicized to keep it separate from typical ‘thinking’ expressions.

Triggers – This story has a radical take on many societal & religious customs. If you are a victim of rape, incest, or opinionated on the subject of sex workers, please walk away. This book seeks a diverse perspective on such matters.

i$uscribe by PB Flower is a sci-fi fantasy that blinded me with quantum physics and mechanics, and philosophy dipped in biological and computer sciences, and astrobiology. Enter a world where a game becomes real, “death is defined by change”, and the main characters dissect and harness humanity and control the weather like mythological gods. A blend of god, alien, and human with eyes of “ocular sorcery”, protagonist, Sam Veer Eckhart of Eckhart Inc. and his brother Dee Veer, leader of the underworld filled with demons, seek to control human life by harvesting human thoughts, memories, and physical reactions, all the while causing natural disasters on earth and objectifying women at a whole new unimaginable level. Imagine sex superpower style with an “alien suitor”.

The story is told in first person narration with each chapter written from the point of view of a different character, including females: Athena, Victory, and Citzin. The line between virtual and real is as blurry as ever in this story. It’s next to impossible to distinguish the difference between artificial intelligence and humans. In the bounds of an abstract timeline, the story develops mostly through dialogue and character thoughts. Female mc, Athena, gradually reveals her ancestry and origin to the point of her eternal circumstance in dialogue with Sam in a satisfying ending.

This mind-blowing book had me pondering a real future concern about the spread of adaptive artificial intelligence across humanity. Highly recommended for lovers of the film productions, The Matrix and Star Trek, and the book, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.

As someone who loves sci-fi, metaphysics, and philosophy, I was immediately drawn to i$UBSCRIBE – Gen Verismo Genesis. This standalone work of fiction is full of unexpected twists, thought-provoking themes, and inspirational quotes that made me think about life in a whole new way.

What I loved most about this book was how it seamlessly blended different genres to create a unique reading experience. The science fiction elements were well-researched and imaginative, while the romance added a steamy and twisted layer to the story. The supernatural and Indic mythology elements gave the book a mysterious and ominous feel, making it a true page-turner.

The author's writing style is engaging and witty, with banter between characters that had me laughing out loud at times. The characters themselves were flawed and relatable, making it easy to follow their journey through a parallel Earth.

In terms of criticism, I can see how some readers might find the book dark and disturbing, but for me, it was an eye-opening exploration of the human condition and our obsession with progress.

Overall, i$UBSCRIBE – Gen Verismo Genesis is a well-written and well-crafted book that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a mind-bending blend of genres.

5.0 out of 5 stars The future is AI

If our SELF could be downloaded into an engineered reprogrammable sentient being, what would be our future?
In this book, the reader confronts the possibility of external forces governed by artificial intelligence, controlling the human race.

SamVeer's Rorrim project forms the basis for human eradication and talks about why humans have been resilient for so long and their adaptability which can now be modified for a higher purpose.

I quite liked the way the author presented the changing dynamics between SamVeer and Victory from beginning to end. Love is not conventional here and while the novel makes you long for the characters to cuddle up sometimes, the writing stays true to the theme and the character attributes and you finally understand why romance is an undercurrent but can't be too apparent!

Athena's backstory was also appealing and raised philosophical questions regarding how we deal with our unpleasant memories

With lots of action, drama, with hints of mysticism, ISubscribe is an enjoyable read with a twist that gives a glimpse into our AI driven future.

4.0 out of 5 stars A book that makes you question reality
Reviewed in India on February 29, 2024
I picked i$ubscribe when a quote from the book on social media caught my attention. Soon I was turning the pages, fascinated by the protagonist SamVeer and his ambitions as well as 'love' affairs.

This book has every bit of mystery and fun with questions that raise introspection of the traditional concepts of reality and makes us wonder if any creatures beyond our knowledge are controlling our lives.

With several topics on aliens, a duality of mysticism and philosophy; this book evokes intense emotions that leads us to delve deeper into the complex drama weaved by the author.

This book is for you if you are a fanatic for dystopian scifi novels.

Yes, enjoyed this one. Although, I did find it took a while to get into the writing style, it was worth persevering. Interesting storyline and plot, while part of a series, it could also stand alone. Deserves 5/5 stars for the writing and story, thank you to the author.
