I have a range of skills and experiences, having studied Business Administration in college while taking courses in literature, poetry, cartography, and supernatural studies.
After completing college, I joined the military to satisfy my urge to travel and the travel ranged from across Canada to various parts of Europe. Following my military service, I spent 40 years in real estate, starting as an agent and later working in acquisitions for an investment company, focusing on locations such as Florida and Texas.
Despite having a successful career in real estate, my true passion has always been writing. To develop a profound set of writing skills, I took a writing course through the Long Ridge Writers Group, affiliated with the University of Connecticut.
After completing my writing course, I did different types of writing, newsletters, articles, web content, and short stories, and found my place in writing fictional novels. I wrote the successful Charm series, a great urban fantasy teen trilogy. Recently I have turned my imagination to adult gothic horror, with my premier horror novel, Blood Mansion receiving many amazing reviews.
I have always been told I have a vivid imagination and this is reflected in my fiction writing, however even in my writing I want as much realism as possible. Each story and novel I write is heavily researched, and many of the places featured in my stories I have visited. Even the magical creatures in my Charm saga are all based on mythological creatures that have been thought to exist by various cultures throughout history. With Blood Mansion all the ghosts are based on real-life people, and the material used to make a haunted house came from places that existed at the time it was built
Although most of my writing time is working on novels, with two more soon to be published and other projects underway I still write short stories and for a fee, I can write custom personalized stories.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, I raised four children as a single dad and have two grandchildren, with a third to arrive soon.
