From Hell's Heart: The Chronicles of Breed: Book Four Kindle Edition
Breed saved a world, killed a demon, destroyed the gods that made it, and then went home.
It was time to rest, perchance to die.
But as any fool knows, there is no rest for the wicked.
No one is going anywhere until an old friend is dead, an old enemy is saved, and hot or cold vengeance is served.
The battle is over, now the war has begun.

About the author

Head over to my website where you can also get two free prequels from The Chronicles of Breed and be kept up to date with new releases.
KT Davies accidentally became a professional actor, was in a Troma movie, and performed in an award-winning play at the Edinburgh Festival. KT has also worked as a drama teacher, a scaffolder, and a server in numerous restaurants because, actor. At some point our hero skidded sideways into theatrical prop making, (including work for Shakespeare's Globe Theatre), before falling into the dread, Pit of Writing, which it turns out, isn't actually that dreadful.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2020This book was a long time coming, worth the wait. Breed is his old, lovable, rascally self. Bent on revenge, he chases a very powerful, and oddly shaped, nemesis, across a familiar, but ‘wrong’ world.
He sees friends, or at least the shells of friends, from previous times, and takes enormous risks to help them, despite them not being them, so to speak.
The ending is a blood soaked cliff hangar. Hoping not to wait too long for the sequel, I forgot most of the previous stories details. although it didn’t matter much, this one stands alone. Overall, an enjoyable romp, with an old friend
- Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2022Incredibly satisfying in every way. Read this entire series and you will not be disappointed!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2020This series is some of the best stuff I have read! I love the cynical commentary by the "hero" even as he does the right thing, sometimes inadvertently. I look forward to more of these.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2020Breed is perhaps the most interesting character that I’ve had the pleasure of reading about.
All four books are excellent though they do seem to be getting shorter as the story moves along.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2020I have enjoyed Breed's exploits through the first 4 books. The first book took me a little by surprise and wasn't sure it was my cup of tea. A significant departure from my usual fare, but I was hooked early on and have eagerly anticipated each new journey. I look forward to the next opportunity to follow our half-breed into another dimension!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2020As a huge fan of the “Breed” book series, I was greatly excited to see that he had been revived for another go at the world. K.T. Never disappoints

5.0 out of 5 stars A breed apart
There aren’t many series that I’ll buy on pre-order, but the Breed books are a given. The stories are tightly crafted and the writing is vivid and evocative, and I love the fact that Breed is a fully-3D character, not a Mary Sue/Gary Stu.
This book easily lived up to the previous ones in the series. I was genuinely disappointed to get to the end and know it’s going to be ages before I see the next one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top notch gritty fantasy...
The final installment in a fantastic series. I'm rather choosy about fantasy books having read a lot of them over the past few decades... life has become too short to spend it reading the usual formulaic rehashed cliche ridden novels. I'd rate this series right up there with other favourites in recent years including (predictably enough) the George R. R. Martin stories. Yes, obviously it's fantasy, but somehow the twisted gallows humour, the struggles of the characters (who are complex and plausible with their own follies and foibles therefore more relatable), the colourful language and the evocative world building render these tales so much more believable than the usual middle of the road fare. It's grim, gritty, tough, dark and edgy but it definitely has a heart. It's amusing and heartbreaking. It's life and death. It has plot twists that you didn't see coming. It's undoubtedly a page turner. For fans of the Jonathan French 'Grey Bastards' trilogy (currently inpatiently awaiting the third volume!) and the Miles Cameron 'Red Knight' series... both of which I also highly recommend. An engrossing rollercoaster ride!

2.0 out of 5 stars J'ai lu les 4 tomes en version originale !!
Je serai très court !! Il n'y a rien de plus insupportable qu'un héros bête et ridicule si ce n'est un anti-héros bête et ridicule !!
Je "raye" cet auteur de ma liste de lecture !!

5.0 out of 5 stars KT Davies does it again!
Another great instalment of the Breed story! I love Davies’ rich use of historical vocab and crass humour - very entertaining and at times, hilarious... I think everyone has a little bit of Breed in them!

4.0 out of 5 stars Breed Lives
Think this is the best in the series in my humble opinion, story moves at a fair pace, the writing has the right balance of humor and world building, this is not Wheel of Time and doesn't try to be, buy and enjoy coves.
