Christa Nardi is an accomplished author of cozy mysteries. Christa's background is in higher education and psychology, much as her protagonist, Sheridan Hendley in the Cold Creek mystery series. She has always loved mysteries - reading them, writing them, and solving them. Christa is a member of Sisters in Crime. When not writing or reading, Christa and her husband enjoy travel, three grandchildren, and their dogs.

Murder at Cold Creek College is the first in the Cold Creek series, set in a small, fictitious town in Virginia and Sheridan is an accidental sleuth called on to assist the detective in charge of a colleague's murder. The fifth and last in the series, Murder and a Wedding, was released on August 10, 2017. Sheridan may be moving, but she still gets involved in mysteries with the Sheridan Hendley series.

Christa also authors the Stacie Maroni Myseries. Stacie is a strong female at a crossroads in her life who works with victims of domestic violence. Going back to memories of the Dana Girls,

Christa collaborates with Cassidy Salem on a YA mystery series featuring teen sisters.

Stacie is mistaken for someone who works where she does. She is kidnapped but ultimately let go when they realized the mistake. The other woman is found dead. But Stacie, who saw the kidnappers, is still in real danger. How this all gets resolved is downright interesting!!

This is the tenth in the Staci Maroni Mystery series by Christa Nardi. It is a standalone book but I recommend reading or listening to them in order to get the background and development of the recurring characters.

I enjoyed this book so much that I read and listened to it.

The main story is about Staci being kidnapped by mistake. When she’s released instead of killed, she’s hell bent on finding the intended kidnap victim. The kidnappers never expect her to come looking for them. Staci provides valuable information to the police in hopes of locating the intended victim. Unfortunately, the woman turns up dead.

I enjoyed every twist, turn, and misdirection of this well plotted story. I am never disappointed in this series. Staci has a solid head on her shoulders and does not fall in the “too stupid to live” category of some amateur sleuths.

Jealousy, Jitterbug & Murder Stacie is embroiled from the beginning when a young woman from her company turns up dead. I always enjoy these mysteries as Stacie is an astute student of human nature whose boyfriend, Michael, a detective, actually listens to her sugggestions about his investigations. I love the supporting characters, both Stacie’s friends and Michael’s colleagues. I never do figure out the case, but I cannot put down the books until I get to the end!

It grabs you from the very first page. Stacie is kidnapped, but she wasn't the right person. Luckily, she was let go unharmed. Lots going on in this one, and O'Hara and Stacie's romance gets out of the bag. Read from the beginning to get the full enjoyment of the series.

I enjoyed this tenth book in the series as much as the first nine books. I thought this story was high-octane from the opening paragraphs until the very end. It was one of those audiobooks which I listened to in one sitting as I was so captivated by it. I have liked Stacie throughout the series. I have liked her interactions with her man and her girlfriends. I have found instances of humor which added to my enjoyment of the story. I have enjoyed all of this author's stories, but this series continues to be my favorite of all her series. I enjoyed Naomi Rose-Mock's narration as her delivery gave a defining voice to the characters. I was gifted a copy of the audiobook. I have chosen, without financial gain, to leave this review which included my honest opinions regarding this story.

The case turns very personal for Staci Maroni, human resources specialist for an insurance company/domestic violence volunteer/animal lover/parttime sleuth, when she gets knocked out and kidnapped in a case of mistaken identity by a couple of low-level crime kumquats, but it’s also related to some unbeknownst to her shady dealings in her company’s customer service unit. She has to investigate this time in self-defense in case the bad guys decide to come after her again, and because she’s worried about her co-worker.

This was a really fun read. I’m a huge Staci fan and this entry in the series had plenty of what I’ve come to love – well-developed characters; interesting, topical plot; a steady pace; and an interesting resolution. I enjoy the relationship between Staci and her boyfriend, the local detective. He’s mostly supportive of her, knowing she can’t deny who she is. She has to investigate and help those who can’t help themselves. He actually listens to her suggestions on investigating cases, unlike the stereotypical detective boyfriend who ignores his girlfriend’s input. She’s a student of human nature, she knows things and sees things he doesn’t, things that help him solve his cases.

I’m always happy to see a new Staci Maroni available. I know I’m going to be entertained and engaged the whole book. These can be read out of order, although I prefer them in order because I like watching Staci develop as a person. I will definitely read the next one in this series when it’s available.

This is another audiobook in the Staci Maroni series. Staci is kidnapped by mistake, which prompted her to search for answers. This book was narrated wonderfully by Naomi Rose Mack.

Jealousy, Jitterbug, and Murder is book 10 in the Stacie Maroni Mysteries by Christa Nardi. I believe that the beginning of the story is so creative and I couldn't put the book down. I liked that the murder victim worked where Staci works. I found the book to be very exciting and fast paced. I love the characters in this series and the author has a wonderful core group if characters that appear in every book while bringing in new characters to keep the series fresh and interesting. Christa Nardi should be on your cozy/mystery TBR list. I received an arc for free and am leaving my review voluntarily.

I love these books. Great well written cozy mystery with a twisty plotline that kept me guessing. Starts with a bang great first chapter that grabbed me from the start. Excellent characters including the usual cute pet. Naomi Rose-Mock does a good hob but she leaves strange pauses all through the narration. I received a complimentary copy for the author and am leaving a honest voluntary review.
