Just for the Cameras Kindle Edition
Sex worker couple Kian Kalu and Jordanne Daye decide to fantasise about their hot, untouchable flatmate and best friend, Luka Prince, just once. Just to scratch the itch. They totally don't want anything else from Luka—not his body, nor his heart.
The last thing Luka expects to come home to is his two sexy flatmates and best friends getting frisky underneath their blanket on the living room sofa. And for the first time in a long time, Luka lets himself want.
It was supposed to be one video for Jordanne's and Kian's subscribers.
One video. No strings attached.
Except now, Jordanne and Kian don't know how to let Luka go, not after they know how fucking perfect he feels between them. And Luka feels like maybe he can risk getting his heart broken again, if it means he gets to have Jordanne and Kian forever.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2023Luka and Kian and Jordanne are roommates. Kian and Jordanne are in a loving, healthy, sexy relationship. But they're also in love with Luka. Unbeknownst to them, he's in love with them too. So he asks to be a part of the scenes they film for their sex work and they agree to do it one time--just for the cameras. But all three of them want it to be real.
Okay, let's start with fat, black, queer, sex workers. I felt so seen in this book. I love that the author doesn't shy away from Kian and Jordanne being who they are. I love their love. As erotic as this was, it was one of the most romantic things I read all year. The angst and the pining--it was equal parts passionate, gut wrenching and beautiful. Their sex makes you wish you could join in and I see how Luka fell for Kian and Jordanne. The way their personalities complemented each other, the way they shared space so easily--they were in love without even trying, and all any of them had to do was say it. And the journey to their admittance was worth the wait. I've marked it a slow burn for that reason alone. Sex aside, the three of them pushing through the fear of getting exactly what they want was an deliberate, unhurried glide where you felt every moment of what was stopping them. The bareness and openness of sex being the vehicle that drove them to acknowledge the trust and commitment they already had was developed well and the lesson wasn't lost in the eroticism. The side issues with their family dynamics gave you much needed context into why they loved each other so hard, and their friends were wonderful. The way they enjoyed each other made you hot, bothered, and envious. It was everything I never knew I needed. And the ending was marvelous.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2023Omg this book was so dang sweet. I think I read too much dark romance and toxic romances because this book had none of that. It was just three people loving each other with all their hearts, no third act breakup, no toxic mess, no exes popping up from the past, just a loving story of three people falling in love. It was so steamy too! I highly recommend it!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2024Jordanne is a successful Nigerian sex worker living in Manchester, England, who makes a living uploading videos of herself and her loving boyfriend, Kian, for the pleasure of her many subscribers. Jordanne and Kian are happy together, but they’re also both harboring a secret crush on their roommate, Luka, and are thrilled when he suggests making a video where he walks in on them—just for the cameras, naturally. He’s not secretly pining for them. (He totally is.) This is scorching hot. It’s also sweeter and cozier than you might expect from that description, as well as gentle with its characters who are dealing with estrangement from their families because of their work or because their dads are awful or both. It’s really loving. I appreciated how it played with what is public (online, out in the world, with friends and family) and what is private (personal and unspoken, shared among lovers). It’s also beautifully body positive; Jordanne and Kian are both fat, and it’s rare to find fat male characters in romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2024Seemed like the same story repeating itself several times. It took a lot of effort to keep reading because the story line in general is super slow. I want to DNF it soooo many times but didn’t want to be a quitter. I would not recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2023This book started of swinging. I was not ready for the opening scene AT ALL.
After I stopped clutching my pearls, I immediately thought these 3 were such horny bunnies. I'm not sure how they didn't need downtime but I guess being young and feral it's like that sometimes. The tension was leaping off the page, and some how Viano was able to balance that with a level of tenderness and care. Listen, I couldn't keep track of who was where but the check-in and asking for permission was more important to me. So yes there was a lot of on page shenanigans but we also got to read about healing, acceptance, familial boundaries, healthy relationships, and sex work done with dignity. We love to read it.
I think towards the end it dragged just a bit. My guess is that Viano wanted to make sure all the loose ends were addressed. Everyone didn't get a HEA resolution but they did get found family and a HEA. I think there's room for this to be a series. 🤞🏾
CN: mention of an abusive ex, verbally abusive dad, outing sex work (revenge), homophobic comments, slut shaming, panic attack on page, dying parent
- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2023I really had to take a moment to think about what to write because I didn't want this review to be only pterodactyl screaming. Because I loved this book so so so much and after I'd read this book, my mind was totally empty of thoughts.
I love how realistic the story is emotionally. We see the progression from realizing you want more, to being hesitant over grabbing it when it's available and that leap when you finally decide you want to go for it. We see the pining, the yearning, the communication, the learning, the hesitation, the love, everything and I love that. It takes time to navigate a menage romance and I adore that we got to see that slow burn. But please don't get me wrong, this book is very fast burn (scorching really) when it comes to spice, because there is a lot of spice AND ITS SOOOOOO GOOD!!! Like take a breather after reading a scene -good. Trust me.
What I also love is that Jordanne and Kian are described as being fat. Not plus-size, not curvy for miles, not heavy, but fat. I so very rarely see this and it's absolute perfection. And it's not a big deal, they are fat and that's it. They still love, they still have hot scenes, they still dress in revealing clothes and go out to have fun. It's not a hindrance and the author does an amazing job with showing that while not underlining the fatness. It's just a character trait.
In conclusion, I love this book, it's one of my absolute favorite reads of this year and it knocked out everything. Totally wow-fest.

4.0 out of 5 stars What a find! This book is so different to what I expected but all the better for it.
What a find! This book is so different to what I expected but all the better for it. This involves an existing couple based in the UK who make money performing 'acts' on camera. While they love each other they have both also fallen in love with their roommate. The way the story line is woven with three different POVs that give you an insight into their differing childhoods, experiences, relationships and emotions is fantastic. This story is super spicy while also being super sweet and romantic. I really enjoyed it and it was great to read about three POC characters written by a POC author.
