Follow Paige Pearson's path in "To the Stars," a compelling narrative about the dedication and grit required to become a cadet. Growing up, she witnessed her father in his role as a commander. Yet following his commands as she grows older is a rollercoaster of unexpected turns and surprising twists. Feel your heart pound as Paige soars through the air and to the stars.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2025Lore’s writing is beautiful, heartfelt, and achingly realistic. Her heroine, Paige, navigates an uneasy relationship with her commander father and fellow cadets in this sci-fi novella, maturing and coming into her own along the way.
This is a wonderfully-written, captivating, and engaging read! This is exactly how sci-fi should be written - with heart and humanity at the fore.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2025As someone who lost my own mother when I was really young, I identified with Paige Pearson, and rooted for her as she worked to fulfill her dreams of becoming a fighter pilot.
